Chimbalhar Heights

I booked a stay for me and my two family members and I book Chimbalhar Heights, Palampur through makemytrip.com. I booked Deluxe room and I read what Amenities are included in my stay. So I packed my bags as per my booking. But tye worst experience started when I went there. My room didn't had any Toiletries, No Toilet Tissue Roll, No water.. nothing was there. I was so annoyed and irritated with the staff because when you asked them to provide these items, it took them 5hours to provide me all the items. Towel was also not there in the bathroom. And I spoke to the owner who is Retired Captain from the Indian Army and on phone he sounded very promising and professional but when you reach there... you have to be on your own risk because either you will be fighting with the staff to get the items delivered in your room or you will end up being irritated on yiur vacation. I think makemytrip.com should investigate these properties first and then list them on their portal. In the end, I would just say that please investigate throughly before booking through makemytrip.com because some Fraudulent hotels like Chimbalhar Heights are also registered on their portal.

Though a small property, it is very well maintained with clean rooms and wide choice of veg and nonveg food. Sincere and well behaved staff. The view of dhauladhars from the balcony is breathtaking. Overall a wonderful experience.
