We only stayed one night as we were walking the Camino. We got a friendly welcome. The room was lovely and comfortable. We did go to the restaurant for dinner, but it was quite expensive and the menu del dai sign was removed in the evening, so we ate elsewhere.
Very central, right on the Camino. We’d stay again.

Terrific Location! 1/2 block from the Gaudi, and great restaurants. Walks with pretty views were easy to get to. Liked the walk out patio to a balcony. Teo comfortable chairs for sipping wine in the room. Nice spacious bath. Good check in. Coffee and restaurant connected to the lobby.

Modern hotel in the centre of town with all facilities. The bed was very comfortable and t h e room extremely quiet. The evening meal was basic in terms of choice but the hotel offered an extensive first class breakfast buffet which allowed us to take some items for the trek ahead

This is a fantastic hotel. I was in Astorga as I was cycling the French route of the Camino. One of the hotels I randomly selected was the Spa Ciudad. What a surprise, this hotel was very comfortable, the staff were excellent, the breakfast was superb, and finally the town of Astorga is beautiful. I was so impressed with this hotel, that I am going to arrange for my wife and I to have a weekend there next year.

We were very happy with the hotel. A beautiful ambience and and wonderful room but we were disappointed that there was no flexibility for early breakfast at checkout. Some understanding of our situation would have been appreciated.

Nice hotel, nice rooms but airco didnt work... Upon comlaining at the front desk: The repair guy has to come from Leon said the lady, so we dont know if we can fix it. (Room temp 27 degr C, outside 30 degr C) Bathhouse/Spa with the X hundreds of pics on the hotel site, in NOT included and has to be booked at Euro 12, per hour, rediculous, we would not stay here again. Very bad experience.

Nice location, nice beds and bedding. The pictures that show a pool when booking does not highlight this will cost you an additional 22 euro each, per hour! I would expect to pay additional charges for the spa, but the prices for hotel guests is far too expensive.

Hitel was clean and rooms very comfortable but restaurant for dinner was a disaster. Food service was very strange, chips before starters, undercooked fish, curdled sauce, staff very keen to go home. There seemed to be no chef (it was Sunday night?)
