Milodge Elqui Domos

The accommodation is certainly unique and it was delightful being able to watch the stars from your bed through the retractable roof. However we felt it was over priced for the accommodation which was pretty much glamping. Also the domes are quite close together. Ours was next to a house with security lighting in the garden which somewhat spoiled the dark skies albeit they were still amazing. Also the restaurant was closed when we stayed. Nice pool and patio area. The pods are in the valley which means the sun effectively sets quite early as they are shaded late afternoon and early evening. The Elqui valley is gorgeous with lots of beautiful villages and definitely worth a visit. The nearby Pisco distillery is delightful. Please note that the domes are around 4km from Pisco Elqui which necessitates a drive

BAD EXPERIENCE, POOR CUSTOMERS SERVICE. I quickly booked this accommodation which I found while looking for glamping in the Atacama Desert. Unfortunately the location indicated did not work. After contacting the accommodation for directions, they told me it was not in the Atacama Desert. It was located in another location 9 hours away from me, so I asked to cancel, be 24 hours in advance and refused to help me, the person in charge of customer service at the hotel treated me as tiring and told me that I had to cancel 5 days before, which was impossible since I had reserved this accommodation 48 hours before. So I lost my money and I was insulted by the hotel/campsite. I therefore advise you not to encourage this place which has no respect for these customers.

Lovely place. Very sweet place run by very kind and gracious hosts. They serve a great breakfast and will even make you dinner at the end of the day. Lovely.

Domos are gorgeous, chilling out on bed while enjoying the moon and the stars is a memorable experience. Karina, Angelica, and Chari always kept our Domos clean and tidy. Hot or cold, the shower always had plenty of fresh water and the air conditioning did the job very well. The place has multiple areas for social activities surrounded by nature. Its cozy restaurant made us feel welcomed by really friendly and warm staff within a chill and cool atmosphere. We enjoy a wide range of delicious vegan dishes, beautiful presentations, and tasty desserts. So to summarise, The MI LODGE ELQUI DOMOS hotel's team members have left the best impression. Great place, great service, value for money, and in an excellent location. Thank you very much guys See you next time!

If the idea of sleeping under the stars in a dome with a hatch to the sky is appealing then AVOID this place and look at some other offerings in the Elqui Valley: We arrived and were met by a very helpful member of staff. She showed us to our dome which was up a slope. We were thankful it was the first dome as it would have been tricky to get all our luggage up to the top dome as no help is offered. The dome was unbearably hot. Would it have been too much to ask for the air on to have been put on an hour before we arrived. A simple enough gesture to make a customer feel valued! The dome was pleasant enough but there is really no service by any staff and in particular the manager was rude at best. Having ordered dinner - having received the “meme” over WhatsApp!!! With no prices and limited choice we waited for over an hour to be served. I don’t know if this was because the WhatsApp order hadn’t reached the kitchen, due to the intermittent WIFI or the incompetent staff- turns - out it was the staff. Having waited for an hour and observing other guests receiving food that was not offered to us on the WhatsApp menu we were greeted with a shoe sole (they called it steak) and a Salmon that was still trying to get back to the river, accompanied by purple playdoh (apparently this was risotto ) Having complained and left for the evening we were greeting in the morning by a sub standard breakfast and the manager who chose not to engage and address any issues we had raised. In fact as we checked out, mid transaction the manager left to answer a question of a other guest. My partner processed the credit card machine herself, took the receipt and we left. I have stayed in better fields, in winter. AVOID

Es un lugar muy acogedor, limpio y agradable con un exquisito desayuno y todo su personal es muy atento. Damos especialmente nuestros agradecimientos a Zu, Cris y Romy. El lugar es de fácil acceso y los Domos son amplios ,cómodos, y desde sus terrazas puedes admirar las estrellas q se ven espectaculares .
