We had a really wonderful stay. The hotel is beautiful and the room was spacious and beautifully presented. We ate in the restaurant, taking the 8 course taster menu and it was outstanding. Staff were friendly and so helpful. Glad we had two nights here.

The good things first Wonderful location - just 10 minutes walk to the ruins. Nice room, as previously said lots of interesting quirky touches. The negative If you are driving there by sat nav/GPS, beware. Ours wanted us to drive down a narrow No Entry. So we parked, asked the few people we could find, but couldn’t see (or find out) how else to get to the hotel. So we drove through the no entry. At check in we were told some GPS systems haven’t been updated, there is a camera, you will get a ticket. Why not tell us in advance? I was in email correspondence with the hotel re arrival time and said I was driving from Tropea. There is nothing on the website, no map saying this is the way to come. The worst was the lady seemed amused by the prospect of us being sent a ticket and therefore a fine! The restaurant is OK, some good food, but very pretentious.

Very stylist hotel in a lovely garden setting, surrounded by countryside. Close to temple ruins and good restaurants. Lots of quirky modern touches in an old palace. Room bright & airy and bed very comfortable. Dinner was spectacular- Michelin star standard, accompanied by very good local wines. Staff friendly and welcoming. 2 minor issues. I was disappointed we didn’t have a kettle in our room ( which our friends had). Also the mosquitoes in the bike store were dreadful. Take good insect repellent!

We had a family getaway here in july. The staff was so friendly. Our room was spacious and comfortable and super clean. I would definitely visit again in the future. The price is also accessible for families making the whole experience even more fun. I am happy to suggest this tenuta Marigliano

Perfect location very close to the archeological park. Elegant building with very pleasant garden. Cannot recommend the on site restaurant which in our opinion was pretentious, overpriced and unsatisfying. Waiter very pushy and portions microscopic. But the hotel itself was very good if you want to be near the temples.

We absolutely LOVED this hotel. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable, but what makes this place special are the lovely gardens and the stellar service. The hotel ( a restored ducal palace) is surrounded by beautifully maintained gardens with plenty of spaces to sit, relax and enjoy the calm. You can get drinks served out in the gardens and they come with the very best bar snacks I have ever experienced. The service was top notch from the moment we checked, both at reception, and in the bar and restaurant. The hotel is located just 10 minutes walk from the entrance to the ruins and close to numerous restaurants, though you should definitely book dinner in the hotel restaurant at least one night of your stay. The restaurant is superb. We genuinely fell in love with this beautiful hotel and will return without a doubt.

Absolutely loved staying at this hotel! Our group had 3 rooms, all were different, but just as nice. The grounds are peaceful and beautiful, friendly staff, free parking, walkable to many restaurants, good WiFi, and the Greek ruins are a brief walk around the corner. We were bummed the onsite restaurant was closed when we were there because I've read it's quite tasty and has great reviews. Breakfast was served in a pretty cellar that looked like a cave, and had a nice outdoor patio as well. They have complimentary bikes guests can use, and while we didn't use the pool, it looked nice. The property is large enough to enjoy a nice stroll or sit and relax in the chairs on the lawn. My group was driving from Rome to Sicily and happened to stumble upon this hotel during our planning. We had never heard of Paestum before, but when we saw this hotel was near ruins, we knew we had to try it AND see the ruins. I'm so glad we did because we all loved staying here, and it was our favorite place that we stayed during our entire trip. Highly recommend and hope to return again!

A truly magical hotel very close to the incredible site of Paestum. It's beautiful, elegant, romantic, very clean. We'd stay again in a heart beat. The staff were all professional & friendly. The dinner in the restaurant was one of the best I've ever eaten. I let them know in advance that I was vegan & the quality of what they prepared was 5*. The garden is beautiful, plenty of space to sit & enjoy the peace & quiet. Lovely views from the room. Literally 5mins walk to the site. Also very close to the long sandy beaches for summer months. A very special place with an interesting history. We'll be back with great pleasure.
