Sunis Efes Royal Palace Resort & Spa

Third time in Türkiye and bit disappointed comparing to two other places that we have been.. It was meant to be the luxurious hotel 5* plus but I would give it 4*. Facilities in the hotel are very nice lots of space beautiful elegant design and gives good impression but unfortunately the service at the time we where there wasn't great .. We had much better service at Belek and Side hotels that where less luxurious hotels but make us feel more welcome! We arrived at midnight and bed for child wasn't made.. Wi-fi is not very good at the hotel we were loosing signal at the pool.. At the main restaurant the waiting staff looks lost most of the time and completely not interested not much effort from staff.. there was only one that actually stand out from rest and was trying to make people welcome his name is Ender we thank him for his effort! Food was ok but first 4 days boring and not very well presented.. after 4days it started improving little bit. We liked the a la carte restaurant food and service was much better there. Not much entertainment for kids disco short just 20min and everyday same 4 songs.. Hotel would be much better if service improved as this is what makes people coming back!! Show less

The hotel is very impressive in the common areas and our room was fine, although our view (to the car park) certainly wasn't the best but not a problem. The bars on the pier and near the snack bar were always good during the day. The massive split pool and water slides are great for all the family. The pier cabanas were idyllic and perfect for relaxing, swimming or snorkeling. The lunch restaurant near the quiet part of the pool and Pide place were particularly good. The dessert choice was the best I have seen in an all inclusive. The staff, in general, were very friendly and attentive but occasionally some of the younger bar staff at the lobby bars were poor. Cocktails for instance were different depending on who made them. The main buffet restaurant offered a huge variety of hot and cold food but yet somehow got boring. I think the a la carte restaurants could be more accessible and more akin to the non Turkish cuisines they attempt to copy. A lot of the activities listed are difficult to find or are only available for short periods of time. The sports bar wasn't manned when I was there and the Irish bar regularly seemed under staffed. I presume it would be better in peak season. If you want great service you better take Euros or Lira with you for tipping. Tippers get priority. The nearest ATM is in Ozdere which is a taxi ride away. There was a drain problem in a few different parts of the hotel which created a quite disgusting smell. Avoid the house photographer unless you see yourself as an amateur glamour model. The arcade is not varied enough and wasn't open for long enough in the day when I was there. If I were to return to Ozdere I would consider returning but I would likely try another hotel with more varied facilities like tennis courts, mini golf etc. Entertainment at night was mostly dull and music/Entertainment pool side in the dat was mostly not to my liking.

Great resort and hotel accommodation. I believe every room has beautiful view, because of position of the building. Nice friendly hard working people trying to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Absolutely recommend to everyone how loves luxury, great food and friendly people! We have enjoyed our holiday! Recently visited this hotel, first time in Turkey! It didn’t disappoint. Fantastic hotel, lovely food. Staff are wonderful . Really enjoyed our stay. Couldn’t have asked for more! Highly recommended for family’s and couples, the place really does cater for everyone! 5 star at its finest!

The hotel and the services are the best. Sunis entertainment are very friendly and they are always open to visitors, the food is very good . Room temperature is always good and the staff is very nice . Pillow’s are very comfortable and they have room service so you don’t need to worry about getting any more.

The hotel is awesome…Rooms are clean,tidy up.I really liked the service and the food.Turkish cousine is absolutely one of the best cousines in the world.If you are coming from a place that is always cloudy Turkey and this hotel is absolutely fits for you.I like sunbathing and Animation team is amazing.They are fun,energetic and lovely 10/10

I fell in love with this place right from the first sight. The rooms are spacious and it’s clean everywhere. Entertainment team can not be left without mention. Everyone is friendly and ready to cheer you up. Moreover, you won’t stay hungry, because food is tasty everywhere! Sometimes people are worried that they will not find a place on the beach to lie in the sun, but you won’t face this problem there

Hotel ís absolutly amazingggg i really enjoyed their company especially animation Team.Berra ís lively and her zumba IS so fun.Hotel ís clean.Emma my sister loves dart with cennet.Animation Team ís energetic,fun and crazy.Sea ísť kryštál clear 10/10

The hotel pretty cool. Me and my family had lots of fun. We enjoyed ourselves with various activities. We especially want to thank sinda. She was engaging and very professional. Definetly knows how to communicate without disturbing. Also the food was amazing. Thanks to everyone who had been helpful.
