Great location, service was a bit on and off, as staff was not always the most helpful. In any case, I'd definitely recommend over other choices nearby. I'll definitely stay again, and hope that meanwhile staff is a bit more professional.

酒店在路邊，門比較低調，要注意看一下，房間衞生，但是不是特別寬敞，畢竟在渥太華市中心位置是真的很好，出行很方便。基本上週邊的地標性景點和建築都能步行到達。

Très bel hôtel, manque juste la piscine

老房改造而來的酒店，整體有藝術感，但是新裝修的氣味還有遺留，介意的慎重考慮。 地理位置方便，房間不是很大，被服務的感受不明顯。

The Metcalfe Hotel was the ideal base for our 3 days city adventure. The hotel is right in the heart of downtown, so I was able to walk to all the major attractions. Parliament Hill and the Senate were just a few minutes away, and I loved taking a peaceful stroll along the Rideau Canal. One of the highlights of my trip was visiting the Diefenbunker Museum – a Cold War relic that’s a bit off the beaten path but definitely worth the visit. The hotel itself was great. The staff were helpful in suggesting local spots to visit, and the hotel’s atmosphere was calm and relaxing. After long days of sightseeing, it was nice to return to such a comfortable and quiet space. If you’re looking to explore Ottawa’s rich history and culture, The Metcalfe is a great choice.

The Metcalfe is a beautiful hotel, in a great location where everything is within walking distance. The staff is really friendly and helpful, and anticipated all our needs. The room was sleek, clean & the bed was so comfortable!!! Best hotel in Ottawa and can’t wait to go back!

Just a few blocks from Parliament Hill, this hotel did not let us down. Staff were extremely helpful, our room was large and comfortable. AC worked great. The bathroom was roomy and had plenty of counter space with a large shower. Would not hesitate to stay again.

Do yourself a favour and book this hotel. We were greeted by the friendliest staff. Room is clean and super quiet. We had a great selection of cocktails and some apps from 3:00-6:00 before heading off for dinner. Bed is super comfy and the hotel is centrally located near both a variety of restaurants, tourist attractions. We were worried the atrium would be loud at night but the whole hotel, room included, is super quiet which makes for a very restful night. In room coffee and bottled water was a nice surprise. We lived our stay and will do a staycation again soon.

As a regular visitor to Ottawa I recently decided to try the Metcalfe as an alternative to another more expensive hotel in downtown Ottawa. The Metcalfe's location is excellent and conveniently located to all the amenities of central Ottawa. My room was spacious and larger than my previous hotel. The staff were friendly, courteous and willing to help. The restaurant offered reasonably priced alternatives for breakfast that were well prepared. I very much enjoyed my stay and will be using this hotel on future visits to Ottawa.

Our daughter’s wedding was held at the Metcalfe in October and what a wonderful experience it was! This lovely boutique hotel has a warm and cozy feel from the moment you walk in. Every single staff person was so friendly, helpful and kind. Huge shoutout to Carmen, a manager and our main contact for the wedding. Carmen, from the moment I met you in the lobby you completely put my mind at ease. You were so professional and helpful and went above and beyond to ensure that everything went smoothly. The food was delicious and all of our guests were very pleased with their choices. Every member of the team from waitstaff to housekeeping to management were so supportive, enthusiastic and kind. They treated us as if our daughter was their family member and that her wedding was as important to them as it was to us. Thank you all so much for everything. It was an absolutely perfect experience.
