Hotel Albània

This hotel is what I imagine Albania is like: surly staff, mattresses like planks, pillows like slabs of concrete, with the AC is shut off after midnight, leaving guests to broil in their rooms or open a screen-free window to street noise and bugs. The sheets had holes and nibbled edges. When I asked the "receptionist" for a better room, she told us to go to another hotel. Do not stay here!

We were delighted to return to the Albania this year with our adult sons. The hotel is very clean, very comfortable and in a very convenient location. The selection at breakfast is excellent and regularly replenished and the staff are all very helpful. We have already booked to return next year.

We stayed in several hotels on a cycling trip through Italy and this was easily the worst. Beds are like concrete Pillows like sleeping on a paving slab No water in our room Dreadful security- you leave your key in a pigeon hole that is not behind reception- we went out for the evening (there is no bar or restaurant) and when we returned there were a number of people in reception and we just got out key - we could have been anybody . The worst aspect is how the hot the rooms are and at midnight they switched off the air conditioning and the heat was unberable so combined with the terrible beds its made for an unpleasant night . Breakfast room on the roof is nice and an average breakfast

We were travelling during a very hot period of late may. Reception claimed that it was technically impossible to have the AC on (too cold.. yeah right. we had 28 C all week.) Room was too hot to sleep and street too noizy to hace window open. Would have been a great place had they only spent the money having the AC on. Yes, it is an economical thing, not technical !

MEDIOCRE Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel a luglio 2024. Avevamo prenotato 4 notti ma sarebbe stato giusto andare via subito. Ne abbiamo potuto apprezzare solo la posizione poiché a ridosso della spiaggia e del centro storico di Otranto. L’accoglienza sembrava essere stata cordiale invece alla prima osservazione, posta in maniera garbata, di poter avere un materasso matrimoniale piuttosto che due materassi, ci è stato risposto che non ce ne erano poiché i letti all’occorrenza dovevano poter essere separati. Eppure per rimediare a ciò basterebbe semplicemente mettere un Topper ed offrire così il massimo comfort agli ospiti!!!! La camera invece presentava muffa sia sul soffitto proprio sopra il letto che su quello del bagno. Ci e’ stato concesso, ma con atteggiamento contrariato, il secondo giorno, di poter cambiare camera ma il problema sussisteva anche nelle altre. Il condizionatore siamo stati costretti a spegnerlo, nonostante il caldo, perché era direzionato sul letto provocando ovviamente disagio e fastidio durante il sonno! Ma al dire della signora della reception era collocato correttamente perché non ci era concesso esprimere un giudizio sul lavoro eseguito da un professionista del settore leggasi ingegnere!!! Asciugamani e costumi per poterli fare asciugare al rientro dal mare dovevi metterli in uno stendibiancheria posizionato sul pianerottolo della scala in balia di chicchessia. La colazione sembrava essere accettabile ma il secondo giorno abbiamo potuto appurare che veniva riciclato ciò che rimaneva la mattina precedente. Abbiamo così deciso di andare via un giorno prima e ci aspettavamo quantomeno un abbattimento di prezzo per i vari inconvenienti trovati. Invece siamo stati trattati davvero con notevole scortesia dalla signora (con i capelli ricci) alla reception, probabilmente la proprietaria!!! E così invece di apprezzare il fatto di essere rimasti ci ha criticato dicendoci che ce ne potevano andare anche subito e solo dopo insistenza ha tolto 30 euro dal conto con rabbia e stizza. Abbiamo pagato esclusivamente perché noi siamo gente per bene ed educata. Per concludere, parcheggio giornaliero 5 euro, abbastanza distante, nonostante l’hotel fosse provvisto di garage!!! Sconsigliamo a chiunque di soggiornare in questo hotel per l’atteggiamento irriverente, poco professionale e poco empatico riscontrati in questa signora.

Nous avions une chambre avec balcon trés spacieuse rénovée donc prix supèrieur. J'ai reservé directement avec l'hôtel pour avoir cette chambre et non par un site bien connue.Virement fait et confirmation par mail d'une personne de l'hôtel.Grand étonement au moment du départ . J'ai du prouver le virement. Le mail de S.ne suffisait pas et pas de trace de mon virement à l'hôtel.Trés désagréable .Dommage petit déjeuner sur la terasse très agréable,trés bonne situation prés du centre historique.
