Closeish hostel to the city, 20-30 minutes to the city/museums/attractions. Strange beds with holes on the ends so all can see inside - many people use towels to cover the end of the bed for privacy. Nice kitchen with fridge and some utensils. Clean most of the time albeit many toilets had feces blockages, and some showers were out of order. Some showers had toiletries which was nice, but not all. Some outdated guides around the hotel so dor research online as the hostel does not keep up to date. I will stay somewhere else next time I visit Oslo but this is a good option if there is nothing else.

The common areas are a great place to meet fellow travelers, and the vibe is social but not too noisy, allowing for a good night’s sleep. The beds are comfortable, and the overall facilities are top-notch I’d highly recommend Bunks at Rode to anyone visiting Oslo, whether you're a solo traveler or with friends. It’s a great value for the experience you get! I'll definitely stay here again on my next trip. .
