"Fantastic comfortable stay with a family-run business! I stayed at Hotel Kailani during a recent trip to Izu Oshima Island (a ferry ride from Tokyo). The hotel is located on the hills of Habu Port, with waterfront views and 2 minutes walk from one of the best lookout spots on the island. The hotel was clean, quiet, spacious, with plenty of amenities and facilities, and a great breakfast cooked daily by mother and daughter. The staff are very friendly and you can really feel the care and attention that has been given to the hotel. I believe this is one of the best hotels on the island, and I highly recommend it to all travellers!"

"I stayed at a long-established inn on the 4th floor. It was inconvenient to have to take the stairs to get to the second floor. There are some rooms that can be accessed by elevator from the first floor. The amenities are single-use items, so if you are particular about quantity and quality, you may want to bring your own. "We had a fantastic stay at Moana Hotel. The location is perfect—just a few steps from the harbor, making it very convenient while still feeling peaceful and authentic. Our room was spacious, clean, and very well equipped. The beds deserve special mention—the mattresses were excellent and made for a very comfortable night’s sleep. What truly makes this place special, however, is the host. Suhuku turns a simple stay into a real experience. From the warm and refreshing welcome drink to her thoughtful advice on planning our volcano hikes, she made us feel immediately at home. The real highlight was Suhuku’s taxi service. She not only drives you, she creates an experience: taking us to the trailhead for our hike, picking us up at the onsen afterward, bringing us to a neighboring village for dinner, and even collecting us after the restaurant—all along beautiful panoramic routes. There is no rushing—she clearly takes pride in showing the beauty of the island. Another unforgettable moment was breakfast, where we enjoyed a spectacular view of Mount Fuji—simply breathtaking and the perfect way to start the day. This level of care and individuality made us feel like VIP guests throughout our stay. Suhuku’s Moana Hotel is an absolute insider tip—we would highly recommend it and would definitely come back."

"I made a reservation because I recommended that the meal was surprisingly delicious by the introduction of the fortune telling teacher who was intimate. Unfortunately, the weather was bad, but I was able to check in before it started to rain, and I was kind enough to send me to a public bath near the port and lend me an umbrella. ※ The umbrella is returned to the souvenir shop in the port. ※ If you make a reservation in advance, you can pick you up by car to the port. The dinner was really surprisingly delicious and I just drank alcohol. The presentation and taste are so wonderful that I forget to take a picture, and I am impressed by the gap with the location of the island. Breakfast was also an essential volume for rice refills, and the presentation was very good. I ate too much at night and in the morning lol I happened to stay only 々, so I was able to soak in the hot springs slowly at my favorite time and was healed from the bottom of my heart. I got a souvenir on my way home and I was completely exhausted. I also wanted to take care of you here next time. I want to bring my mother someday! It's a little-known spot! it's recommended!"

"The appearance is not popular. The entrance is manual, not automatic, and is half empty. Slippers are disposable. There are various things at the front desk (cans of insecticide, etc.) The room is old. The futon and bed are acceptable. There is a TV and refrigerator. The refrigerator takes a long time to cool down. The toilet was average. There was no sign that the bathroom floor had been cleaned. There are towels and bath towels in the changing room of the bath. There are disposable toothbrushes and razors. I have an interdental brush, but I'm too scared to use it. There was no sign that the floor was being cleaned. The bathroom is average. The water was hot but felt good. Shampoo is usually fine. A cockroach appears in the room. Be careful not to get stung. The breakfast is voluminous, but I don't think it's to the taste of Japanese people. I have no appetite. I have a glass cup, but I don't have the courage to use it. The table is not dirty. It's more like a guesthouse than a hotel. Is a Chinese lady running the business by herself? Speak well. I don't feel bad talking about it though. Traveling in Izu Oshima I searched for accommodation on the internet and this was the only place I found. There seem to be very few accommodations posted online. So I think it would be a good idea to ask the Oshima Tourism Association. In a sense, it's a great inn. If you experience this place, other accommodations might be heaven 😊"

"A very cozy and beautiful cottage on the ocean shore. We stayed for two days and would happily stay longer. Everything inside is made of wood, and the design is tasteful. There's a room with beds, a Japanese-style room with futons (we chose to sleep in that one), a loft room, and a spacious lounge area. And in the evening, it's very pleasant to soak in the bath. The host is a very nice older man."

"It's hard to find an inn that can be so relaxed. I celebrated my friend's birthday, but the devised dishes that make me feel warm and the cake full of handmade sense are the best memories. The bath in the room is very cute, and there is also a large private bath. In the morning, you can take a deep breath while the birds are singing, and you can see the island 々 and Mt. "Good points: View from the open-air bath. Shuttle bus to the port (not surprising, since there are no local buses on weekdays!). Bad points: Wi-Fi - useless in the room. Room - renovated bed room, but no good in many ways. Room is spacious, but too much wasted space. Bed... electric bed. It's probably expensive, but pointless. Nice washroom... but like the washroom in a service area, when you put your hand over it, water trickles... you can't adjust it, you can only fill the pot in the room in the bathroom, and the structure means you can't fill the aquarium with water. Food - sashimi... we ordered separately, but it was awful. I've never had such bad sashimi before, it was full of strings and couldn't be chewed, and it had no freshness at all, so we skewered it and fried it. Rice - bad. Staff response - I know they're trying their best, but they're not used to it, they don't know what to do. Is the food here catered? Are there no cooks in the kitchen? Large public bath: Old and not well maintained. Only the view from the open-air bath is good. Smoking area: Only outside the building. Isn't that a problem in terms of crime prevention?"

"Mình hơi lo lắng ở phòng dorm một mình nhưng một lần tắt rèm cửa thì mình có thể được sống thoải mái trong không gian riêng tư. Cá nhân tôi rất vui khi có cảm giác sạch sẽ, ngoài lò vi sóng và tủ lạnh còn có tủ lạnh! Một điều tôi quan tâm là nghe nói không gian cafe trước quầy lễ tân chỉ có phòng miễn phí cho khách vào buổi tối nên tôi định đọc tranh vẽ vào áo ngủ rất nhàn nhã. Đợt đó có 2 người không phải khách tình cờ lên, mình lo lắng nói chuyện với một cô gái trẻ ở quầy lễ tân mà không đặt hàng. Ngoài ra, cô gái đang đóng cửa lễ tân với bạn bè nói chuyện âm thanh (và ồn ào) nên không có một môi trường để dành thời gian thư giãn của mình. Mình như một tập thể lớp trung học chưa quen nên nghĩ đây không phải chính sách của mình khách sạn, nhưng thật tiếc vì không như izakaya hay hostel xung quanh, điểm là tương tác. Tôi muốn biết khu vực sẽ rơi vì là đảo không nhưng tôi nghĩ nếu ở lại lần nữa sẽ cải thiện nếu ở lại."
