Grenadine Lodge

Have just returned from our second yoga retreat at this beautiful site. We were overwhelmed by the warm welcome and helpfulness from Aygiil and Ergun and all the staff - special mention as well to Yusif the barman & the chef ( always smiling!) and the team in the restaurant. Everything was perfect, the grounds are beautifully kept, the pool is kept clean and at a good temperature. The rooms are clean and comfortable with ample storage. The bar is cosy, we spent many evenings there entertaining and being entertained by Yusef. Absolutely nothing was too much trouble. They also grow their own vegetables and make delicious jams and chutneys which accompanied breakfast & you can also buy them to take home. There is a quiet, comfortable, peaceful tree house where we spent warm afternoons just looking at the view or reading. It’s a short cab ride into Dalyan town or a 30 minute walk so very convenient to visit but we most enjoyed our evenings on site. It’s a place we want to go back to again and again, so special to us. Thank you all for creating this lovely space and we hope to visit again next year, with or without our yoga. It’s a beautiful oasis for winding down and relaxing.

I have just come back from teaching a yoga retreat at Grenadine Lodge, and I couldn't recommend it more highly. Tranquil and beautifully landscaped gardens, comfortable and clean rooms, all set around a central saltwater pool (deliciously cool and so lovely not to have chemicals in!), a lovely bar serving fresh pomegranate juice, other drinks and a great bar menu for smaller snacks or delicious meals, all freshly prepared and showing off Turkish cuisine. The breakfast and evening meals in the adjacent restaurant are buffet style, abundant and consistently excellent. We had veggie, which was extremely varied and tasty, but you can also have fresh fish and meat cooked to order. The staff make your stay extra special: always smiling, kind and on hand to help, they felt like family by the end of the week. I miss them and Grenadine Lodge already and can't wait to return for another yoga retreat next year. The yoga space is covered but open, overlooking pomegranate fields. Well equipped and quiet. Dalyan itself is absolutely beautiful, with so much bird watching, turtles that come up to your riverside restaurant to eat your scraps, to endless cats and kittens; whether you want unspoilt sandy beaches and turtle sanctuary, archeological and historical richness, spice bazaars, boat trips to swim in secluded, blue seas (take your snorkelling gear!) or peace under starry skies.

Staying at the Grenadine Lodge is my highlight of the year. On a week’s yoga retreat it’s everything I could hope for. The chalets are a perfect home, the facilities are beautiful with a gorgeous swimming pool surrounded by palm trees and mountains. Staff like Khan & Aygul are most attentive and feel like family. The chef cooks up the most delightful vegetarian meals. It’s the calmest week with all my needs taken care of. It’s a lovely 20 minute walk (or quick cheap cab ride) from the town centre. I would highly recommend the Grenadine lodge.

Grenadine Lodge is a lovely peaceful haven with extra friendly staff and clean and spacious rooms. The food is delicious and the well run bar means you can relax with a drink day or night! Activities around Dalyan can be organised at reception and I would recommend the Hamman and the massage service offered. Free bike use makes it easy to get around. I hope to be back soon…..

Just returned from a week long group yoga retreat at Grenadine lodge with Free Spirit yoga. When booking I chose a downstairs room which overlooked the pool with a little terrace, AC was available but wasn’t needed as it was cooler at night. As a group we enjoyed home cooked, communal vegetarian meals which were delicious and plentiful. At the bar by the pool you can order food and drinks at any time during the day and early evening. I can recommend the delicious cheese and courgette toastie!, but there is plenty of choice. The hotel is surrounded by countryside, Orange and pomegranate trees with a backdrop of mountains. It’s about a 20minute walk into Dalyan, if you don’t want to walk, there are bicycles or a taxi will cost around 150 TL. The local bus which stops outside the hotel also goes to the famous Iztuzu beach or you can catch a water taxi in town. It’s my second visit to Dalyan, first to Grenadine Lodge, I can’t wait to return. A big thank you to Aygul and her wonderful team who made our stay so special.

If you're looking for a peaceful rest in beautiful surroundings, look no further. Grenadine Lodge is set amongst pomegranate groves and natural countryside, with spectacular views of the distant mountains. The little town of Dalyan is 20 minutes walk away (or you can use the local 'bus) and has a market every Saturday. The lodges are clean and comfortable, set near the wonderful pool, small bar and restaurant, where the food is fabulous. Aygul and her staff are welcoming and friendly and nothing is too much trouble. I'm looking forward to making a 3rd visit already.
