Really nice staff, yet quite noisy at any time...The walls and balcony doors are just useless...could hear maintenance sound of the terrace, peole chatting, and even TV programs from the next room all night...

Where to start? I haven't written a review for a very long time, but felt compelled to write this because of the dreadful experience we had. Arriving at the hotel, I have never felt my heart sink so low. We couldn't check in until later that afternoon, which we did with trepidation. We were right. We had paid extra for a so-called 'premium' room. What a joke. They shoved a couple of robes and a kettle in the room and this, apparently, made it premium! It gets worse. The room was not cleaned daily. The bed was made and clean towels put in, but no wiping surfaces, floor cleaning etc. We complained, nothing changed. Any coffee cups or glasses used were simply left. After a few days we had quite a collection of these. Unsurprisingly, after 4 days, we had cockroaches. We complained again. They fumigated. We came back later that evening to a dead cockroach in the room. We went out the next day and came back later to....yep, the dead cockroach, despite the fact they had been in to 'clean'! Oh and said cups and glasses were still there! We had wanted to leave after the first night but, unfortunately, no hotels were available until 1 January, which we booked. Absolutey disgraceful that we had to fork out hundreds for the last 2 nights of our stay simply because this place was so filthy. I have never seen such a disgusting pool area - cigarette ends everywhere, don't walk around in bare feet! The 'solarium ' was closed for the whole of our stay, so very little chance of sitting round the pool because it was so busy. Bit of a blessing in disguise really, the noise from the street was awful. Speaking of noise, our room (714) was horrifically noisy. We were kept awake (despite ear plugs) until 02:30 from the bar across the street to then be woken by refuse trucks or deliveries at 05:30. Our complaints fell on deaf ears. In fact, it was insinuated that we were making it up! I have wondered the same about the 4 and 5 star reviews here!

Fabulous hotel, right on seafront/promenade. Room cleaned daily, new towels, shower gel/shampoo/conditioner in fantastic walk in shower - powerful and steady temperature. We were on 9th floor with sea view/lido view. Staff couldn’t be more helpful - everyone from cleaners/restaurant/bar/reception staff very friendly and accommodating. Food was best we have had on holiday - we were half board - great choices available at breakfast and evening meal. Happy hour was popular in lobby bar from 5-6 every day. Entertainment good but we popped out most evenings and found a fun karaoke bar a couple of streets away. Lots of nice bars/restaurants and shops to keep you entertained in the evenings. We enjoyed watching the surfers in the bay and there were bands/singers performing in various locations on the promenade. The lifts are a bit rickety but we always shared a joke with fellow travellers and there were no issues. The pool is great, lots of sun loungers and seating. You can hire towels - we took our own. Free Wi-Fi across the hotel/pool area. TUI rep was extremely helpful/knowledgeable and we booked Teide by night stargazing trip which was excellent. We packed warm coats for this as temperatures drop rapidly on the mountain once the sun sets. The botanical gardens are well with a visit - we paid €5 to get there and walked back down the hill to the hotel. Had a really relaxing 4 night break. Airport shuttle bus took about 90 minutes and very comfortable journey. Thanks to all of the staff for making our holiday very memorable. Bit of a shock getting back to sub zero weather in midlands on our return!

It was listed as an adults only but there was children then in the pool.The pool was absolutely freezing apart from one day when some women was there doing checks on pool in a diveing suit,it seemed to be slightly warmer that day.The roof terrace was still closed we came december 2023 and they were doing work on the terrace & its still closed december 29th 2024.The food in restuarant was allways only just warm.The selection of food in the dining area for tea only catered for people who like fish,we payed for half board & only ate in restuarant for evening meal on xmas day we ate out the rest of the time.Been to this hotel 3 times now,i brought family with me this time but was disapointed with the food.
