Caravela Beach Resort

I stayed at Caravela Beach Resort as part of a destination wedding event and I must say that I want to go back there again for vacation. With brilliant architecture providing an old world charm, beautiful exterior landscaping and the beach front it is perfect for a relaxed stay. It has a private beach (Varca beach) which is one of the most beautiful beaches amongst the ones I have visited in Goa. Pristine blue water and white sands give a stunning view. The rooms are fairly spacious with balconies where you can sit and enjoy a cup of tea either overlooking the pool or the forest. They have a pool side bar and we thouroughly enjoyed cocktails and pizza while chilling in the pool. The pool side bar defnitely adds to the exeperience. One thing to note is that majority part of the pool is quite deep and hence accessible only to swimmers. But there is a part of the pool which can be accessed by non swimmers and kids. Overall staying at Caravela was a wonderful experience. The staff were very gracious and made our stay confortable inspite of the resort being completely booked. Will recommend it to anyone visiting Goa and also as a venue for destination weddings given it has spacious lawns by the side of the beach - perfect venue for sundown events.

We stayed at Caravella from the 31st October to 3rd November and I must say, we had an absolutely wonderful time at the resort. It almost felt like we were pampered by them. We stayed in the beach view rooms, which were cosy and each had a balcony of its own. We even checked out the other rooms; family villas and garden facing rooms, and the best part about the way they have all been designed is the welcoming interiors and the usage of space. Another thing that we really loved about Caravella was the staff and their warmth and care. Be it at the main restaurant or the housekeeping service or the reception, even the buggy drivers, were all extremely courteous and willing to help, sometimes even before we asked. They were extremely attentive and always had a smile no matter what. Sometimes with professionalism, comes a but of arrogance, but that was not the case at all over here. Ankita and Gorakh were two very attentive and warm people we met at the restaurant and made sure all our meals were taken care of. The hotel breakfast was another highlight of our stay with a very wide spread that caters to vegetarian, non vegetarians and was a sumptuous combination of north Indian, south Indian and continental, so there was something (a lot actually!) for everyone. And of course, the private beach is really really good for swimming, dipping your feet or even just lounging around. Theirs even an option to cycle on the beach which is chargeable but worth it especially during the sunset time. The only thing I would've liked would be some air conditioning in the lobby area, which gets quite heated up and humid during the summers. Apart from that, we really had a lovely time at the resort and would love to come again soon.

We happen to visit this lovely resort in the last week of March, and we had a great time, Teresa and Sontosh took great care of us, food at the restaurant was super tasty and variety was great, we will be coming back to this resort and we will definitely be recommending this place to anyone

We as family and friends were lucky to visit the serene and blissful property of Caravella in south Goa. The hospitality warmth and Care we experienced at the property cannot be explained in words. I highly recommend all to visit the property once for an unforgettable experience. The hotel staff was very friendly and saw it it that no stones were left unturned to satisfy us. The curated jain food menu for a small family of ours made us feel privileged Nd special . The restaurant manager Mr niranjan saw to it that all the food served was of best quality and taste. We heartily than the property staff for all the help

very nice property and very prof. & friendly/polite staff. A better communication between marketing, reservation and reception would be highly appreciated. We had a beautiful stay and met only smiles on our way. The total team incl. the room maintance were highly experienced. The rest. and the vhef we met Mr. Dalip was very polite and helpful. Good dining possiblities. The resort itself has everything you need.

One of the best relaxing stay we have ever done with great hospitality and very well manner staff and well spoken and always ready to help special mention to staff like Saniya and Malik both was ver helpful and quick in there services. We will suggest all the couple with kids to come here and relax it’s the best resort.
