Our first visit to Croatia - beautiful Very picturesque on the Adriatic Easy access to the ferry and Korkula. Pebble beach and lovely shade at pool. Complimentary wine and beer with half board. Lots of leisure space Evening quizzes etc could last longer. Food good, but possibly some traditional food nights We will return

We stayed at this hotel in July 2025. The biggest advantage is definitely its location – it’s right by the beach, which is amazing, and it also has its own pool. The beach itself was absolutely beautiful. As for the accommodation, it was average. The beds were very soft, which wasn’t ideal for us, and the bathroom was just okay. The food was also quite average. What really spoiled the experience for me were the rude and greedy guests at the buffet. The choice of vegan, lactose-free, and gluten-free meals was very limited – I definitely expected more in this area. It was possible to find something to eat, but overall, the offer could have been better. All in all, the hotel was fine, and I appreciated how close it was to the island of Korčula. However, I wouldn’t choose to return.

The hotel is beautifully situated with a stunning view of Korčula. The center of Orebić and the ferry port are just a short walk away along the beautiful seaside promenade, admiring the azure sea. The garden is beautiful and the pool is clean. The food is delicious, with a wide selection of fruits and vegetables – everything your heart desires. Clean, comfortable rooms, and friendly service. We love this place!

We have recently returned from 2 weeks here and there are positives but slightly more negatives in my opinion. Positive...the Hotel and grounds are all really clean and tidy and it's a short walk to orebic. The beach is nice and right by the hotel with v clear water. Room cleaned daily and pool towels provided. The food was good some days and other days it wasn't, breakfast was probably the best meal and the salads at lunch and dinner were good, wine was also drinkable, although 9pm on the dot they turn the beer pumps off Negative...the pool area was very noisy and most days was v similar to a public swimming pool with many loud children (also adults) screeching. One day there was a few babies in the pool with no swim nappies on and another time a mother took her babies swim nappy off and wrung it out in the pool. Many local children (not guests)would come into the pool daily through the unlocked beach side gate and kick/throw footballs across the pool regardless of people, and purposely splash and harass older guests this was reported to reception but nothing was done about it. The parasols here are also v badly designed as they are not attached to the base and some are properly broken so when the wind got up they blow out of the base this was a daily occurrence, I was hit twice by a flying parasol, so were other guests and another time one completely flew off the area and down to the pool bar below, This was also reported to reception but nothing was done and the broken parasols were moved back to position each night by the pool attendant. I took a broken parasol off the base and left it by the railings on the floor where it stayed for the remaining 4 days. I also handed one to the pool attendant who looked at me like I was mad! The food was OK some days but was quite repetitive and not what I imagined, not sure I thought stewed beef, cauliflower, mash and broad beans would be on offer at lunch time in July when the temperature is 35 I probably wouldn't return here during Croatian school holidays as it was busy and noisy but the area was lovely.

Excellent hotel with friendly and professional staff. The whole hotel is kept very clean and well presented, with staff doing a fantastic job of cleaning all the guest areas throughout the day as required. The pool and sun lounging areas are great, and although you get the normal rush for sun loungers in the morning there are actually plenty available even on busy days. Plenty of parasols and shaded areas too, which was a relief in the June temperatures! The atmosphere is calm and relaxing out by the pool with no loud music - ideal for us! The location of this hotel is excellent with stunning views of the mountains one side and the sea looking over to the island of Korcula on the other. It is a short 20-30 minute stroll into Orebic (maybe quicker if you’re there in cooler months or you’re used to the heat!). The route is all along a partly shaded coastal path. In places the path is uneven but you just need to take care and take it slow. There is a beach bar 50m from the hotel in the other direction. We stayed full board and found the food to be really well varied and of a good quality. There is plenty of options for every meal and the staff are brilliant at keeping everything stocked and tables cleaned ready for the next guests - a very efficient operation. Restaurant is buffet style for each meal with everything self service, including drinks. Drinks from the restaurant (including the beer and wine) are not permitted outside of the restaurant and restaurant terraces which we found to be a plus point as it meant there wasn’t the “all inclusive drinker” culture around the hotel. There are 2 other bars in the hotel which are excellent for both soft and alcoholic drinks. The hotel was busy during our stay and must have been near capacity, but it never felt over crowded we didn’t miss out on anything due to availability. The beach on the hotel grounds is pebbly but leads into sand after a few steps if you go in at the eastern side. The hotel has its own jetty so you can order a water taxi to collect you directly from the hotel. This is perfect for a quick trip to Korcula or other nearby islands if you don’t fancy a trip into Orebic for the (albeit cheaper) passenger ferries or car ferry. This was our first time in Croatia and we are very glad to have stayed at the Grand Azure. We had a relaxing stay and enjoyed every minute of our time in the hotel! We will come back again.
