The shower did not work , they spend one hour trying to fix it , the Bede only hit water, they couldn’t fix it , the staff are friendly , the breakfast was good . Bbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbbb

While it is a Sonatrach affiliate I found comparable to other European hotels. I spent 4 days for a conference and meetings and overall satisfied. My room was fairly updated, and unlike others I found the food to be of good quality and selection for the region. I did only partake in the buffet for all meals. It does get crowded and not all patrons are familiar with queuing but still a pleasant experience. My first time in Oran, and I was a bit cautious,as such I didn’t venture out much this trip, but did feel very safe while on property. Staff was professional and one of the biggest “perks” was the complimentary airport shuttle👏.

Méridien hotel and convention centre is an amazing building with a splendid sea view, but nothing went well from day one. So I'd like to highlight the below points: At first, on June 22th, 2022 exactly at 8am , at the door entrance, an impolite security agent, I didn't see his name, had a bad attitude toward my father,  he stopped him by saying (Sir ! what do you need here? My father replied : good morning,  my daughter works here, I will drop her and I will leave. He said ok but be quick ! No good morning,  no smile, no respect) What a shame ! Another one has asked me and my colleagues : do not walk here in this area !!! So ridiculous, too much ban for no specific reason ! Secondly,  our IBC office (international broadcast center) was barely clean, from the first day till the last day you could see dust on the desk top, foot prints on the floor where other people walked, It looked as though it had not been swept in a very long time ! Well,  we had to clean it by our selves. Moreover,  another story with another security agent B. AEK to whom I went to ask him about my ring that I have lost, he talked to me meanly and with unrespectful way ! For all I know, the role of the security agent is to give guests a remarkable first impression about the hotel, and welcomes them warmly with a broad smile. Besides, you do not need formal qualifications to do this job but a good general education is useful. Furthermore, I believe that every single employee of the hotel must maintain a high level of professionalism in dealing with guests, he or she is very courteous and friendly in order to make guests feel relaxed and at home in the hotel, unfortunately that wasn't the case in Méridien hotel. Security team needs better training except one or two who are polite and helpful like Mr Houari and Mr Samir. To put it in a nutshell, I felt uncomfortable and unsatisfied, an effort is needed to reach 5 stars standards, hope things will get better.

Le Meridien Oran is truly an amazing place to be with a very warm welcome and great services. I really appreciated the kindness and professional attitude of all the staff and specially Mr ACHOUR from the front-office. Thank you so much and looking forward to returning soon. 😊

This hotel belongs to Sonatrach, so they have the guarantee from this company to send their employees to the hotel as priority it is always full they do not have to worry about the service that has decreased. Beg lack of maintenance in the rooms. Breakfast, diner are awful.

Bonjour, Par quoi commencer? Extrêmement déçu de mon passage dans cette hotel. Heureusement que je n’y suis rester qu’une seul nuit…. A l’enregistrement personnels non qualifiés, arrogant, méprisant et j’en passe! Une fois arriver dans la suite 1012 (premium) payer 51700 Dinars. C’est juste une honte, du vol !Pas d’eau chaude, obligé d’attendre l’intervention d’un technicien pour pouvoir ce laver…. trappe du plafonnier ouverte, moquette sale et abimer, sanitaire pas nettoyé et délabrer, meuble abîmer rayer et sale bloque porte casser! Mon séjour dans cette hôtel était juste catastrophique. Cette hôtel plus jamais. Je conseil de loin l’hôtel Royal My Gallery à Oran. NB : Inutile de répondre par un message , vous vous soucier du bien-être de vos clients bla-bla-bla c’est faux!!!!
