Kaoko Mopane Lodge & Campsite

Was looking for a remote, but secure camping spot to stayover on the way up to Epupa. This was a pleasant surprise as hot water, lovely pool and meals in the bar/restaurant could be ordered. Will be back! Thank you.

Kaoko Mopane lodge and campsite is really nice and well organized! Great staff ( Antonio so kind and professional!), nice position few km far from Opuwo, very good restaurant and wifi. They organized for us (5 adults) an unforgettable tour in real Himba villages ( guide surname Lopez) which was our best day in Namibia.

Very relaxing campung experience! Trevor is really gem to the place! B'fast also very nice. Will come again!!!

A lovely place, beautiful scenery with plenty of birds. Friendly personnel, nice food. The rooms are spacious and well located with a nice view of the river.

We stayed as campers. Great facilities with open air shower, wc and basin. Well decorated, and well located. We had a little issue with the shower, which was fixed immediately.

We stayed for one night at Kaoko Mopane Campsite. It's a nice area, you have your own outdoor bathroom at the campsite, all s well maintained and the staff was very friendly and helpfull.
