Hotel Kristal - Liburnia

Enjoyed my stay. Perfect location, directly on the promenade / Lungomare and close to Opatija's city center. Indoor pool with sea water works till 19-00. Rich breakfast from 07-00 till 10-00. Dinner is from 19-00 to 21-00, also rich and worth to be include during the stay. Spacious and well-organised room (except for the bathroom: very limited space), comfortable bed

We were the first guests of the hotel in the new season, so it is especially worth highlighting and praising the teamwork of the staff. The best part of this neat and clean hotel is definitely the staff. Friendly, cultured and polite. I hope that as guests we will repay them in the same way.

We recommend it to everyone who likes to walk, the location of Hotel Kristal is ideal for a short break. Liked it · We liked that we felt sincerely welcome, which we did not have in previous years. As soon as you arrive at the reception of Hotel Kristal, you are greeted by a smiling receptionist, even though he had a few people ahead of us to process, his service was at a high level and the other receptionists were also very professional and very, very friendly and helpful even in the evening hours. The room was cleaned every day and all towels were changed daily. At breakfast, we were surprised by the gesture of the kitchen employee, who, at the guest's request, prepared scrambled eggs and personally brought them to him, because they did not have this dish on offer. This was happening near the end of the breakfast hour. We have been to Hotel Kristal quite a few times, but just like this year, the fact that everyone was very helpful, smiling and very friendly, no matter who it was the cleaner or some other employee of this hotel, is an incredibly nice experience. We hope that their professionalism will not be thrown away and once again a big thank you to all the employees of Hotel Kristal. lp I didn't like it · A minor observation goes to the food, which was at least in terms of choice more modest than in previous years, and also the taste of the dishes that were available was sometimes not recognizable in relation to what you were eating. Specifically: - the potatoes were burnt, some potatoes were hard in the middle or even when you cut them, the potatoes were green inside - the breading on the chicken was very hard we also tried other dishes, but all of them did not have the right taste, as if there was not enough salt, pepper or something else from the spices that was missing. Breakfast was also a more modest offer without fried bacon, eggs on the eye and a modest offer of cheeses and sausages. But, you didn't leave the dining room hungry!!!
