is has to be hands down the MOST DISGUSTING / DIRTY \ hotel I have had the unpleasure of staying in. May I add I fly around the world & always stay in 4-5 star hotels at bare min I expect them to be clean. Well I had the shock of my life & have since this visit been so mentally scared I can’t rebook any trips atm due to the stress this has caused me! I was actually HORRIFIED to find body stains ALL over my mattress & bed yes the bed they expect you as a paying guest to sleep on ! Then I discovered 2 inches thick of dirty dust under the bed (clearly never been cleaned in YEARS) then to add insult to injury there was USED dirty tissues & socks under the bed like it made me feel physically ill I wouldn’t except this in a 1 start hotel let alone 4 ! I will be sending my photos & complaints to the people who rate these hotels & ask them to come & recheck them ! They should be closed never mind anything eles this is MAJOR HEALTH & safety problem like we are talking about people’s body fluids & so on how more DISGUSTING can you get. Next problem was they must of thought let’s kill our paying guest as you your staff member clearly was not bothered about a dangerous bike which I was given to rent which turned out it had no breaks (they both completely failed on me after not long of riding out) these bikes are fast as well being electric so it’s super dangerous ! & when I told the staff once I got back he wasn’t even in the slightest bothered or concerned he was NOT going to get it Checked / fixed he would of happily just gave that bike back out to someone ! I had to make him report it & come & see the breaks for himself before he finally said Il get it checked ! This is the best part people so When I complained to the hotel managers about the DISTURBING state of my room you won’t believe what their response was . This will not be pleasant to sleep on I’m in shock after complaining & explaining I was a loyal guest who has actually stayed with them before you would think they would of offered me a full refund no problems they didn’t want to offer me NOTHING at all they barely even said sorry after such a shocking discovery please avoid & if you do stay there don’t take the sheet off the bed you just might regret it

“The staff was great. The receptionists were very helpful and answered all our questions. The room was clean and bright.

Please double check the bathroom for sewage the room I stayed in had a sewage smell in the bathroom with the shower and tub.I dealt with it as I was with a friend next door and was told the rooms close by were not available. In addition please have flyers about the shuttle to the boat and not the city centre translated to English it’s a bit deceiving if you cannot read Dutch.

The lady said she sleeps on a DIRTY stained mattress at home & tried to tell me that 2 inches of dusts must of been made by me in 2 nights I stayed there like I actually laughed had I not been so angry ! What sort of thing to say to paying guests is this ? The worse part then was she went on to say we steam clean the mattress when CLEARY they don’t & she was lying hence the DIRTY BLOOD & URNINE stains I WARN you not to stay here the health problems could be serious blood carry’s EVERY viruses know to man HIV included & urine stains stink & will not be pleasant to sleep on I’m in shock after complaining & explaining I was a loyal guest who has actually stayed with them before you would think they would of offered me a full refund no problems they didn’t want to offer me NOTHING at all they barely even said sorry I’m going to have to try & sue them to claim my money back as I won’t leave this & im NEVER staying with any of there brand hotels again I advise you HIGHLY to avoid this hotel I have no other reason to want to waste my time writing this review other than if it saves just one person from stayin

Wonderful place if you have a car or can make the shuttle/ferry service option work with your schedule. Everything think was clean, nice, and comfortable. Kids and I had fun in the pool, which was heated to a nice temperature. The breakfast buffet is excellent! Worth the splurge at least once. My only hesitation would be if I didn't have a car and my travel plans didn't work with the shuttle/ferry service. It would be pretty hard and expensive to get around in that situation and would make it difficult to see Amsterdam and other nearby sites. If you do drive, there is a car park called ljdock where you can park all day long for $15 if you book ahead online, and you'll be within walking distance of Dam Square. If you really want to save, just do the P+R (park and ride), but you'll need to do your research ahead of time. It was nice to be able to use the car to visit Keukenhof and Zaanse. Also, used it to get to Van Gogh museum, but I wouldn't dream of trying to drive anywhere near downtown! I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Everything about the hotel is fantastic as long as you can make the location work.

This is second time I have been at a meeting at this hotel, the other pre- Covid. That experience was better. At this time I found the rooms nice and the meeting staff and banquet staff quite good and responsive, and food surprisingly good. The biggest issue was the front desk staff. I check in very early after overnight flight to Amsterdam and had to get clerk to look up from his phone as I stood at desk. He could not even work the computer to check me in and needed to call a colleague to do that. I asked for assistance during the meeting at front desk and initially was put off that they were “ too busy” so I did half their job and they finally did the rest. At check out offered both printed and emailed receipt. I asked for both, only got one, was told day staff( very early departure) would need to handle the email, staff on duty could not do that. Had a credit from an earlier stay and because of how reservation had been made for me by meeting organizer instead of me the credit not honored and now lost. There were aspects of cleanliness that could have been handled better in public areas. It is not anywhere near the heart of the city although they run a shuttle into town.

Had a great experience here - the hotel room was clean, very spacious and modern. Had one meal at the restaurant and it was way above my expectations (plus the burger was ne of the best I've ever had!). Initially was hesitant over the location as it's beside a motorway and nothing really around it, but they have a regular shuttle service (10 mins) to the ferry point which takes you to Amsterdam Central which worked out great for us.

Absolutely fabulous hotel. Staff are very helpful and the vibes of this hotel are so good Modern and spacious at reception and in rooms
