Hotel in a nice location next to the river Vecht. Best dinner we had during our stay in Ommen. Breakfast is too simple for a 4 star hotel.

Bedroom for one is very small, no cleaning service during the day. The price to high for this timeworn room.

Terrible stay; the room was 7m2 with the bed placed half under the windowsiill; the glass of the window was broken and semi-fixed with ducktape (?); I was transferred to another room, why put a guest in this room if others are available? Diner was inclusive, but beware: they offer you bread, fries, salad, but all at additional cost! I ordered a white wine, and they served me their most expensive Sauvignon (€7.50 per glass). All this wasn’t clear until checkout the next morning.

service was excellent, our room was in the summer conditions (25+ degrees) too warm. perfect location, nice surrounding for bicycle trips.

Great location and walking distance to shops and restaurants. However, no room service was provided, no clean towels or bins emptied. This is because of “Duurzaamheid” from hotel management. We believe “Duurzaamheid is Luiheid” and poor quality. Bathroom outdated and luxaflex too short to cover the bathroom window. No flyscreens on all the windows. Floor is making cracking noise when walking over it. The mini bar fridge has damaged front. The glasses were dirty at the breakfast buffet, what we showed to the staff. Breakfast buffet has been minimal (cut back in size) compared to other years. Staff forgot to bring champagne to the room on arrival whilst this was clearly communicated at front desk. Overall untrained staff what has no clue what they’re doing and clueless. Windows and outdoor terrace are dirty and there was no communication before arrival that the “beach” was closed due to high water in the river. There was simply no ambiance sitting outside overlooking the river and town. Overall prices of food and drinks are much higher than the neighbouring bars and restaurants. The price and quality are definitely NOT in line and it looks like the hotel management only wants our money. Definitely looking elsewhere next time.

We were placed in a room where the toilet didn’t work. The problem could not be solved, but they didn’t offer us anything to make up for the inconvenience. After waiting for two days for their response on our suggestion of offering something like breakfast, we have only one advice: don’t go there. You won’t get what you paid for.

unfriendly welcome, and overall cleanliness very poor. Dirt on the public floor stayed for the two days at the hotel. There was no room service on the middle day, just a towel (virtual) thrown in. It is a pitty, the location of the hotel is nice, you can sit in the restaurant overlooking the canal, and the parking situation is great around the house. The whole area around the hotel is beautiful.

Booked here as there were only 2 hotels (same owner) in Ommen. As a hotel it could do much better with more cleanliness, rooms are a little outdated. Value/price is a mismatch at this moment.

Nice & clean hotel, spacious room, perfect breakfast, quiet and central location, ideal for beautiful cycling trips in the region

We stayed for 1 night after hiking some 20 km, so we did not go into town or anything, but the city centre was just around the corner. The room itself was large and very well kept, nice beds and showers: a great place to recover ;-)
