Hotel Sporting

The hotel is very well kept- big room, great service. Amazing view and private beaches. The location is strategic you are walk distance from major spot. Just down few steps and you are at the Marina. Restaurant is very good quality and service is top - we like to thank Antonio the amazing hospitality and experience we have during dinner time - lunch was served at terrazzo above the marina. Next time in Porto Rotondo Hotel sporting is our choice, hope to have Antonio to greeting at entrance!!

The Hotel Sporting is an absolute gem. Located on the more quiet Porto Rotondo side of Sardinia (vs the more busy and active Porto Cervo side), this hotel is a beautiful serene Italian get away. The beach is magnificent. The restaurant is great. The service is wonderful. The hotel helped us so much with our lost baggage and were flexible with additional nights because of our flight cancellations. Valentina at the front desk was so thoughtful and kind. Highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful hotel located on one side of the port wIth magnificent views over both the port and sea. Rooms were well appointed and comfortable. Breakfast has a good selection of hot and cold food, with eggs made to order. We ate one night in the main restaurant and the food was fantastic, the desserts though were incredible. The icing on the cake were the staff, who were all incredibly helpful and caring. Our particular thanks goes to David who couldn’t have done more to make our trip a memorable one. An overall excellent experience. Thank you.

From the decor, amenities , location and to the staff, this hotel was just incredible. We travel a lot and this was one of the most charming hotels we have been in. The staff were so lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. The location is perfect and in walking distance to some lovely restaurants and beaches. Everything with this hotel has been thought out for your luxury.

esperienza breve ma intensa, una buona parte del personale davvero gentile e cordiale, il problema é l'altra parte, partendo dal maitre senza professionalità, orari lavorativi disumani, disorganizzazione estrema e senza interesse.

Hôtel 5 étoiles merveilleux ! Très spacieux avec des petites criques plages (avec service de plage)piscines à l’eau de mer. Jardin extraordinaire avec notre chambre vue garrigue et mer. Calme absolu. Service chambre impeccable. Pd et restaurant de grande qualité ! Et le grand plus : un personnel très accueillant et bienveillant et professionnel. Parking privé. Promenade vers le centre-ville et port de plaisance à pied! Joli Marché le mercredi. Nous y retournerons car plein de charme et très soigné ! Daniel Merlin Béatrice STRICK Bruxelles

Periodo splendido da passare in Sardegna: Giugno. Location hotel meravigliosa. Personale cordiale, gentile e disponibile, dalla reception ai camerieri, a tutto lo staff. Cibo a pranzo ottimo! Detto ciò ci sono a mio parere alcune cose da annotare. Buffet colazione molto vario (con selezione anche per celiaci). Torte fresche ottime ed anche la piccola pasticceria molto molto buona. Peccato però che gli affettati fossero scuri e un po’ “secchi”: non davano l’idea di essere freschi. I succhi di frutta nelle brocche sembravano succhi concentrati allungati con acqua. Abbiamo ordinato uova al tegamino: una volta arrivate al tavolo, abbiamo poi dovuto aspettare che tostassero il pane, così nel frattempo le uova si sono raffreddate… Sul sito viene pubblicizzato l’aperitivo, servito con finger food preparati dallo chef (non è stato possibile caricare screenshot). Peccato che poi ti portino solo 2 ciotoline con olive e noccioline: per 20€ a cocktail mi sembra un po’ poco e non da hotel a 5 stelle. Se poi uno si fa servire i cocktail in spiaggia, ci sono 10€ aggiuntivi di servizio… (Apro e chiudo parentesi: in altri locali di Porto Rotondo, sempre allo stesso livello di questo hotel, con cifre inferiori, ti danno cocktail con stuzzichini e finger food). Quando poi firmi quella che dovrebbe essere la ricevuta di quello che hai ordinato al tavolo, non ti portano una ricevuta, uno scontrino o qualcosa di elettronico: è la comanda sulla quale ha scritto l’ordine il cameriere, dove a volte vengono segnati i prezzi dei piatti, altre volte no. Per me i dettagli sono importanti, soprattutto in hotel a 5 stelle: ad esempio saliere e pepiere avevano le parti metalliche arrugginite, la tenda del gazebo in piscina era strappata (vedi foto), la piscina aveva il fondo scivoloso per la patina di poca pulizia che si forma e tutto l’alone marrone attorno al bordo (vedi foto). E inoltre in alcuni punti della spiaggia, la sabbia è piena di formiche ed anche la piscina. Suggerirei di aggiustare anche le docce di spiaggia e piscina, che gocciolano ed hanno manopole arrugginite. Le camere sono spaziose e in stile rustico. Anche il bagno è grande e ben organizzato. I prodotti forniti sono di Bulgari: peccato che quando vengono usati, non vengono poi nuovamente riempiti o sostituiti e ci siamo trovati senza alcuni prodotti. Viene lasciata in camera ogni giorno una sola bottiglia di acqua da 1 lt. Se vuoi altra acqua ci sono bottiglie in frigo da 500ml al costo di 5€. Poi l’unica scrivania in camera era occupata da un vassoio enorme pieno di tazzine, capsule per il caffè e macchina del caffè. Quindi la scrivania non era utilizzabile. Per concludere direi che per quel che offre e soprattutto per la cura nei particolari, declasserei questo hotel a 4 stelle. Avere/tenere prezzi alti non significa essere un 5 stelle…

Estuvimos 3 magnífica noches en este hotel y además de que el entorno del hotel y el hotel son magníficos, el servicio es excelente y sabe muy muy bien hacer su trabajo. A eso se le junta que las habitaciones son muy agradables, la comida buena y el desayuno aún mejor.

Un lieu historique d’exception comme on n’en trouve plus. Situé en bordure de Porto Rotondo, avec un accès direct aux restaurants, boutiques, yacht club, le Sporting n’en est pas moins un havre de paix. Les chambres avec vue sur la mer sont situées à dix pas, littéralement, de petites criques privées. Les espaces – plage, jardin – sont suffisamment vastes pour que même au mois d’août le lieu soit empreint de tranquillité. Excellent restaurant à la carte avec un généreux buffet pour le petit déjeuner et personnel soucieux de répondre aux souhaits de chaque client. Un hôtel à recommander chaleureusement pour les séjours en famille, en solo ou en couple. An exceptional historic site like no other. Located on the edge of Porto Rotondo, with direct access to restaurants, shops and the yacht club, the Sporting is nonetheless a haven of peace. The sea-view rooms are located literally ten steps from small private coves. There is enough space - beach, garden - to ensure that even in August the place feels peaceful. An excellent à la carte restaurant with a generous breakfast buffet, and staff who are keen to cater for every guest's wishes. A hotel to be warmly recommended for families, singles or couples.
