This was our second time staying at Litore Resort, and while we had a good vacation overall, it came with a few disappointments compared to our first visit. We arrived late at night, and unfortunately, the person who checked us in didn’t seem very welcoming, not the best start. The next morning, we asked about getting our bracelets and inquired about changing our room, as we remembered having a better one last time without booking anything special. While we were offered a better room for an extra charge (which we were fine with), the overall attitude at reception wasn’t very warm or helpful. The spa, on the other hand, was absolutely amazing! One of the highlights of our stay. Service at the reception left a bit to be desired. When we asked one of the staff if it was possible to book the à la carte restaurant, the response was simply “no” with no explanation or alternatives offered. Not what you’d expect from a 5-star experience. Another downside was the towel situation at the pool and beach area. Many sunbeds were “reserved” with towels that were left unattended for hours, and no staff seemed to be monitoring or clearing them. As a result, it was very difficult to find free beds, even though many were not in use. The food was decent, but could definitely be more diverse, particularly the seafood options. During the hotel’s 10th anniversary celebration, they served mussels, but unfortunately many were not fresh, which was disappointing. Overall, we still enjoyed our time. The resort has great facilities, beautiful surroundings, and the spa truly stands out. But compared to our first visit, this stay felt a bit less special. With some improvements in staff attitude and service consistency, it could easily return to being a top-notch experience.
