We both really enjoyed our 2-night stay. The room was comfortable, vey clean and the shower room was excellent. The breakfast wss included in the price and the was a wide range of options. Please note it is a continental breakfast but we are in Spain and wouldn't expect anything else. We ate in the restaurant both nights and enjoyed the food and generous portions.
The hotel is a short distance from Sant Joan and is easily accessed from a roundabout but signage isnt good. The hotel is down a track that looked most unlikely. It is not a road for nervous drivers and large vehicles.it is a popular hotel with walkers and cyclists.
We eould both to return for anothr stsy.

This is a very special place. Old stone farm building was beautifully restored into a hotel. We admired the workmanship in the tiling and carpentry. Rooms are large and simply but efficiently furnished with everything you need. The food is as tastefully prepared as the hotel itself. The vaulted dining room was beautiful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful use of wood in the well designed interiors. Loved the room with a seating area overlooking the gardens and the forever on the go lawn robot. Disappointing that there was not a full mirror in the room, and, considering the price, no tissues in the bathroom. Beautiful pool area surrounded by nature. Dinner and breakfast were good value and it was a pleasant place to dine; inside or out. It was a bit annoying when a local kennels got stirred up; probably dinner time. Interesting ride up from the main road on a single track. This however added to the impression of remoteness. The property is ideally placed for the walking/cycling routes. We enjoyed our stay and would return.

Have stayed at this Hotel many times over the years which tells you we love it! Fantastic location so tranquil but on a cycle route, with lovely local walks and located within an easy commute to the areas many beautiful towns to visit. The hotel staff can not do enough to welcome you and ensure you have a comfortable and enjoyable stay and the place is always immaculately clean, it has a beautiful decor within the historical buildings mixed with modern contemporary design. We are already looking at booking again for next year so might see you there!

This place is worth going out of your way to stay. Peaceful surroundings with a lovely pool. The dinner and breakfast was great and the staff friendly and helpful.

This was our third visit to this truly gorgeous hotel. The staff are wonderful. The rooms are modern and comfortable with a lovely sitting area looking out onto the countryside. It is very relaxed and Borges, Rosa and team look after you very well. The pool is lovely with comfy sun beds and sun shades. The town of St Joan d’Abadesse is a 5 minute car drive and the town of Bezalu is.a MUST! There is a cycle path to the nearby town of Ripoll but for the more energetic it goes all the way to Barcelona ! Can’t wait to come back for a 4th time !!

Fabulous hotel, modern but in a traditional style, with nice pool, easy parking and very convenient access to the local walking routes famous in this region. Rooms are spacious with good showers, no noise & safe storage. The bar area is lovely really lovely, friendly staff & easy to get around. The food is very good, lots of local dishes cooked in a perfect style. Wine list is very good, with a very reasonable Priorat . Highly recommended

Excelente hotel, bonito y muy cómodo. El entorno es muy agradable y bastante silencioso a pesar de que cerca pasa una carretera. El edificio muy bien restaurado y las habitaciones son cómodas y amplias. El desayuno es riquísimo, y el personal es muy servicial y amable. Un lugar para repetir, sin duda.
Si tengo que ponerle alguna pega, sólo sería que las habitaciones no están suficientemente aisladas acústicamente, y se escucha al resto de huéspedes.

Très beau cadre, belle chambre. Le petit déjeuner est bon. Le personnel est très serviable. La piscine n'est pas chauffée dommage mais agréable aussi. L'accès par contre sur ce petit pont stress un peu. Un petit déçue du dîner.
