After breakfast, grab one of our maps and head out to explore the several hiking trails, the 9-mile Palmetto mountain bike trail, waterfalls, lakes, antique shops, arts and, crafts fairs, or festivals. Maybe play a round of golf, go whitewater rafting or attend a Clemson game, all within a 10-30 minute drive. Snow tubing and skiing are about an hour away. There is always something to do here each season. Oconee County boasts four lakes with 90,000 acres of water, two rivers, over 160 waterfalls, and endless park acreage to explore. Hiking, fishing, boating, diving, paddle boarding, and whitewater rafting are just a few of the activities you can enjoy. In the evening you can savor a meal at a local restaurant, attend a play at one of our theaters, relax and enjoy live music at a street festival, craft beer pub, or wine bar. If you are too tired from your active day to go out, then you can head back to The Farmhouse and prepare dinner in the well-appointed kitchen or on the charcoal grill, pick vegetables from our seasonal garden for a fresh salad, pop a movie in the Blu-ray player, challenge someone to a board game, or build a fire in the fire ring, make some s’mores and sit back and relax. Don’t forget about Travelers Gameroom and Brew Barn, located close to the cabins. This house was completely remodeled in 2021. At 3000 sq ft, it provides ample space. The kitchen is fully stocked. Nestled in a quiet cove that feeds into lake Keowee, it’s a kayaker’s dream. The house comes equipped kayaks and paddle boards. Kayak to hidden waterfalls right up the creek! Enjoy the nights in a private hot tub on the deck or cozy up by the fire pit. The master bath includes dual shower heads and a heated bidet toilet seat.Clemson University is 16 miles away. We have a 70” TV in the “Clemson” room and a 55” in the living room. Direct tv included and fiber optic high speed internet. The house comes with many baby friendly essentials and includes a crib, two baby gates, a high chair and child proof locks for the cabinets. Inquire with the owner if you need to borrow a pack n play or any other baby essentials. The house is on Cane Creek which feeds into Keowee. The path to the dock is very steep! At the dock the water is usually between 6-8’ but the water level fluctuates. The pontoon shown in pics is not for rent. If you have a boat, you’re welcome to tie it up to the side of the dock. If the lake level is low, there are some very shallow spots that can be tough to navigate. There are various boat rentals available on lake keowee. The nearest boat ramp is seven miles, about a ten min drive. It’s called Cane Creek Landing.You can swim off the dock however after a rain storm, the water can be murky. Our home is situated on a quiet cul-de-sac that shares a point at the south end of Lake Keowee with a panoramic view of Lake Keowee. Our home is just 11 miles from Clemson and is minutes by boat to South Cove boat ramp and Keowee Marina. Also, we are close to town for shopping, restaurants, groceries, pharmacy and the hospital. Our home is family friendly sleeping up to 15 people. We feature very deep water with a very large covered dock that easily holds three boats. Each bedroom has amazing views of Lake Keowee. Four bedrooms with 4 full bathrooms includes a bunk room for kids. The home is located on a gentle sloping lot. Two Master King bedrooms on the main floor with attached bathrooms. These rooms also have an additional single bed in each room. Downstairs has two additional bedrooms with attached two full bathrooms. One room has two single beds and the 4th bedroom has two bunk-beds with double beds below and single beds above. We also have another sleeper sofa and also a set of bunk-beds built into the wall in the main area downstairs. This new home has unobstructed big lake views from every room in the house. It comfortably sleeps 12 people and has just been decorated with new furnishings throughout. There are many spaces to hang out and relax; including a sunroom with couch and dining table, two family rooms, two open air porches and chair around the fire pit. Lake activities include a dock with boat slip, with 1 available jet ski lift, shallow water for wading and playing, deep water for fishing and swimming and 2 kayaks with rental. Take out the kayaks a paddle around the beautiful lake. Put out the floating swim dock and have an extra swim to spot.In addition to the lake activities, guests can hang out at the fire pit, play ping pong, play corn hole, play board games or swing or rock on the porches. The neighborhood is lovely with plenty of walking or running routes.The house has 4 bedrooms and 3.5 baths on two levels comfortably sleeping 12 in real beds. The main level master has a queen bed, the second bedroom has 2 bunk beds (sleeping 4). The second master has a queen bed with private bath and a 4th bedroom has 2 bunk beds (sleeping 4). The house is located in a neighborhood with mostly new homes. Grocery stores and many other services are conveniently located in West Union, about an 8 minute drive. Home Depot, Walmart and additional Services are located in Seneca, about a 15 minute drive.Kayaks and several life vests are available for your use at no extra fee.
