The Seabird Resort Spa, in Destination by Hyatt

We originally planned to stay for two nights, but decided to extend our trip by an extra night. It’s a beautiful hotel and would definitely return given the opportunity! Great amenities, we took advantage of the pool and s’mores on the beach. Like any city, be aware of your surroundings. It’s definitely a walkable area, but in retrospect, I would take a car if going more than a couple blocks.

The staff and service was amazing. They make the stay more enjoyable. Great spot to enjoy Oceanside. We like the Misson too!

For the price we paid, the rooms were very noisy and the hotel didn’t feel like a luxury hotel. The front desk was very rude to questions and requests we had. We did not enjoy our experience here unfortunately.

The pool was dirty so my kids didn’t enjoy it. They said there was clumps of hair and bandages floating around the pool. We stayed on the 6th floor and there was no microwave, the phone in our room was broken. Every time we needed something I had to walked all the way down to request something. I brought the issues to their attention, the lady at the front desk sent someone up to fix the phone but the guy couldn’t fix it. He said he will come back in 5 mins to fix. My family went out and came back 3 and 1/2 hours later.. the phone still not fixed. I walked down again to address the issue and request more towels. The guy at the front desk said he will send someone up to look at the phone and bring us some towels but it’s been an hour now and still nobody showing up and no towels. I’m so tired to walk back and forth. I can believe I paid for this kind of service and inconvenience. I always stayed at the Hyatt properties but never stayed at this location. This will be my last time here.

The property was nice. however, they misplaced our luggage. They gave us another customers personal items. Then they lost the keys to our vehicle in valet. The pool was also closed and the fire alarm went off. It was a very stressful stay and not worth the money we spent.

Absolutely beautiful everywhere you look inside and out. Clean, new, right on the beach. The pool area, Bar/coffee area facing the beach, the lobby and other areas are visual vignettes that are relaxing and elevated. Having access to the sister hotel across the street was a bonus (the grilled artichokes were delicious). The room had a gorgeous bathroom, far nicer than most hotels. Highly recommend all around.

The front desk young girl was incredibly rude to me upon checkin. The room looks worn, our coffee machine was broken and looked old. Elevators at least one was always out of order This is my Favorite place to stay, I am disappointed

Can't gp wrong here. Ocean, dining, shopping if that's your thing, dining, surfing lessons and a nice pool 2 stories above street level.

My fist time at the Seabird was about a year ago. My business requires me to be in the area twice a month. From my first-time, Seabird check all the boxes for a hotel experience. The only time i book another hotel is to stay at the sister hotel Mission Pacific across the street. Location, dinning, room design, balcony views, and most important customer service at all levels has always beem excellent. Beyond pleased every with everyone Ive come in contact with.
