The good: The proximity to town was what brought us to this hotel. Plus the hotel had undergone a "renovation" from the previous ownership and we saw some good reviews from that renovation. The person at the desk was nice enough. We didn't eat the breakfast so I can't comment on that, but there is one. The parking was plentiful. The water was hot and the towels clean.
The not so good: the room wasn't the cleanest and the renovations must have been done by blind people. The walls and room in general showed previous water damage and the whole thing just seemed rundown looking with a fresh coat of drippy paint. The bed seemed new but was hard. The plug in on my side of the bed wasn't connected to anything. The plug in on the other side of the bed made my wife's cell phone sound like it was brewing tea. 😮 The trains and traffic were loud (earplugs needed). It was tricky getting to the place, you need to pay attention to the turns and will probably end up going under the overpass several times. I asked myself a couple of times if I would stay here again and I'm not sure, probably not.
