Kanimbia Luxury Glamping

Profit over people. We had booked it for the weekend of 14 March to 16 March. Unfortunately my 91 year old father had a fall on the Wednesday the 13 th and possible stroke. Breaking his nose, 2 jaw fractures and ruptured ear and two very black eyes. Upon contacting the camp site and asking to move our booking we were told NO we will loose all our money and they will not help out. I was happy to pay for the food that we ordered but NO.. So we gave the weekend to our in-laws so I could care for my father. The in-laws tell us the road in is rutted has caused tyre scrub, the Weber was hard to cook thick meat on but the accommodation was fair. We have been contacted by the management and they have said on our next booking a small discount will apply. NO we will never be going there.

My wife and I stayed at Kanimbia luxury glamping for 2 nights in July. What a fantastic experience. All the team were just so accommodating, made us feel at home immediately. The property is just stunning, we stayed in the Serengeti safari tent, it was beautifully decorated, with a well appointed kitchen, and everything you would need for a short stay. Very comfortable bed and with our little fire place so warm even in the middle of July. A great place to just enjoy the peace and quiet, or walk around the beautifully manicured grounds. Thank you so much for a wonderful couple of days.

Perfect spot for couples weekend away in winter, Safari tents very cosy and comfortable, fireplace with lots of wood supplied was great, cooking facilities and bathtub also a standout, beds, pillows very comfortable, very peaceful and private accommodation
