The rooms were nice and clean and we also had a nice view. The food was delicious both in the evening and had a wide variety of foods to choose from for the morning buffet. We had a very nice stay here for our family celebration and can recommend coming here!

Even though this is essentially a conference hotel during the week my wife and I had an excellent stay. The highlight was the set menu served for dinner which was of unexpectedly high quality, both in terms of ingredients and preparation. Staff were invariably helpful and friendly, and the direct access to the vineyards behind was delightful. We would certainly stay here again when passing through this area. Recommenced

We visited in early April 2022, as Covid-19 restrictions were easing, so masking requirements were mixed (we stayed masked in public areas and removed them at the dinner table; staff generally was masked, particularly when serving a couple of groups that were having conferences there). We found staff at the hotel -- which is family-owned -- friendly and the food excellent (they promote their cuisine); it's in a winemaking area just off the Rhine, and we liked the local product. Something to note is that the online menu may not match what you're offered if you book a package that includes dinner; this is NOT a complaint, as we liked the food, but guests should be aware of the possible difference (this may have to do with post-Covid economics). I see negative reviews here commenting on the lack of air conditioning; while we can't comment on the temperature as we were there in early spring, this is indeed typical of small German hotels in the countryside that are set up in older buildings. Also typical of such hotels is a lack of screens in the windows, which are equipped with roller shutters. The bathroom of our room was completely new and they modernized their old-style radiators with an electronically controlled central thermostat. Our main "issue" with the room -- again, a function of the building's age -- were the power outlets, which were in somewhat odd places. The hotel is located in a valley of a brook leading into the Rhine; it's a stretch, but looks to be a walkable distance from the rail stop at the neighboring village Niederheimbach. Another reviewer complained about noise from work sites across the street, but that construction is now long completed,. We found the surroundings quiet and enjoyed the bird calls in the morning & evening. The view on the street/brook side of the hotel is now of nice, large houses on the edge of forested hills, while further up the road, the old village of Oberheimbach and some wind-power turbines are visible.

Wir wählten das Hotel für einen Kurzaufenthalt im März 2022. Bewohnt haben wir das Turmzimmer, das sehr gut ausgestattet ist. Etwas verwinkelt, aber die Form ideal ausgenutzt. Das Frühstücksbuffet im Hotel ist sehr reichhaltig und bietet für jeden Geschmack etwas. Aufgrund von Corona wurden die Abstandsregelungen gut eingehalten. Parkplätze sind kostenfrei und ausreichend am Hotel vorhanden. W-LAN war in guter Qualität im gesamten Hotel verfügbar. Für eine kurze Auszeit eine sehr zu empfehlende Adresse

Sehr schöne, liebevoll eingerichtete und saubere Zimmer. Hervorragendes Essen. Ausgezeichnete persönliche Betreuung inklusive netter Gespräche. Angenehme Rundumversorgung durch zum Beispiel das „Wohnzimmer“ wo Getränke in großer Auswahl bereit stehen. Sehr gute Lage für Wanderungen!

Wir waren unterwegs im Rheingau und haben ein Nachtlager mit gutem Essen gesucht. Das Weinberg-Schlösschen hat uns genau das beschert, was wir uns erhofft hatten. Einen freundlichen Empfang, ein fantastisches Zimmer, ein unfassbar leckeres Essen mit Verstand und Liebe gekocht und präsentiert und wir durften dann sogar noch auf einer separaten Terrasse den lauen Sommerabend genießen und uns an der SB-Bar versorgen. Es war perfekt! Auch das Frühstück ist unglaublich umfangreich und köstlich. Wir kommen definitiv wieder! DANKE

Wer sich hier auf die Informationen zu noch vorhandenen Zimmern auf Booking.de verlässt, auf der Fahrt dorthin über einige Zeit versucht telefonisch jemand zu erwischen, dem wird es ggf wie uns gehen. Dort angekommen, war dann die Rezeption besetzt, einige spontane Gäste da, die nicht im Hotel essen wollen, aber übernachten und einem das letzte Zimmer vor der Nase wegschnappen. Auf Nachfrage wie es sein kann, dass im Internet noch 2 freie Zimmer stehen und über die letzten Stunden keiner an das Telefon geht, erntet man nur Schulterzucken. Schade für das Hotel, wir wären gerne dort geblieben und hätten unser Geld für das Essen auch im Hotel gelassen und nicht in der Ferne ausgegeben. Das Hotel das uns stattdessen dann empfohlen wurde und in dem die anderen Gäste dann zum essen hinfahren wollten, hatte keine Zimmer mehr, aber noch Platz zum essen. wir mussten dann von Dannen ziehen und sind dann aber nach einer langen Fahrt Gott sei Dank in der Hüttenmühle gelandet. Dieses Hotel werden wir aber künftig für Roadtrips meiden, denn telefonischer Kontakt zum Kunden führt zu Überforderung, was für uns nicht verständlich ist.
