Acar Hotel

We had a great stay at the hotel and would like to give a special thank you to two team members who stood out. Edi from the wellness team was exceptionally kind and supportive. He always took time for us and truly cared. One moment that meant a lot was when he helped me buy a swimsuit to make sure everything went smoothly. His thoughtful and genuine approach really made a difference. We also want to thank Eve from the animation team. She brought a lot of warmth and positive energy to the hotel. Her presence made us feel welcomed and valued, not just entertained. Thanks to Edi and Eve for making our stay even more memorable!

Visited this hotel from a booking made through tui, were when booking the room paid for a upgraded room. On arrival at the hotel at about midnight was show to my room which was meant to be a double with single occupancy t9 find it was a totally single small room which I drew to the attention of the night porter were he said bring it up with the manager in the morning. In the morning I must admit that the manager changed the room straight away. The rooms myself and a friend stayed. In were very dated and my personal opinion is this was old staff quarters and the hotel was over booked. On looking across the courtyard you could see all the what I would have called the upgraded rooms meening we certainly did not get what we paid for accommodation wise. Even the room key had been duplicated were they lost the originals for that part of the hotel and it had been done from the master key so my key fitted all the rooms on that floor. My room safe was broken so I had to use my friends. Food in the restaurant for the first 5 days was bearable but certainly nothing to write home about. The food at breakfast was not labeled so you had no idea what you was eating. The staff were very pleasant. And pool area and bar was also good. Highly recommend you double check they put you in the right part of the hotel and not the old staff quarters. The location of the hotel was fantastic for getting anywhere and very close to the beach and for shopping.

Room- Me and my partner arrived quite early hours as transfer from airport is quiet long! When we arrived the desk staff were helpful and showed us around and took us up to our room. When we got in the room we realised that it was nothing like the pictures and we were disappointed as there was little to none moving space and the bathroom was very small. We wasn’t happy with our room and I felt that the lock wasn’t very secure and ours was dodgy(I am a very anxious person and staying in new places scare me) we was very tired and just made do for the night but spoke to our travel rep the following day and he sorted it and we would be moving to the room showed on pictures on the Thursday (it was Tuesday) As I said I’m very anxious so when leaving a place I double check doors etc multiple times before leaving , we went out for a couple hours and when we returned our door was wide open 😖we spoke to reception and they wasn’t very helpful and just said we would have to wait till Thursday. We finally got moved and the room we was expecting was fantastic , much more secure, more modern and lots of space where I could finally relax! There is 2 sides of the hotel , a more modern revamped side and then the old more downgraded rooms so if booking just be careful. Food- As it is all inclusive I expected a lot of different things but was quite disappointed with the options it is very much catered to European food so if you are looking for the English type of food you will not get much ! The odd day was chicken nuggets and pasta . Some other things I had a try off but I am a little picky and also Gluten intolerant so I was limited to choice and it was either have a sore tummy or starve option! Other facilities- Pool was a decent size and had a little baby pool as-well for the younger ones but I didn’t see no one check the pool water or any maintenance on it once in my week stay, the water clarity was very bad😖 Entertainment guys were very nice and always tried to chat to everyone and get them doing one of there activities or something, was very friendly to us. There is a Turkish bath spa in the bottom of the hotel and i personally didn’t use this one but they do have a little fish spa for your feet that I enjoy a lot and was very affordable. Around the area- Lots of shops and restaurants around the hotel so if you want to eat out there is plenty around mostly similar food but delicious. Plenty of shops to get clothes and souvenirs from at good prices . The beach number 34 is not that far from the hotel and only a 5 minute walk, didn’t stay too long as it was too hot but lovely clear water and you don’t have to pay for the sun loungers but you aren’t allowed to bring in your own drinks! We went to alanya town centre a couple of nights and was beautiful the taxi was only 150 tlr depending on time but would rather pay that as noticed the busses were always packed. If wanting to do excursions I recommend the pink panther safari it was a lovely day out fro

We arrived at 5:30am - greeted by a gentleman who was great - informed us bar was all inclusive 24hrs which was not what we was expecting - taken to our room (nicest hotel room on holiday I’ve had modern clean and well decorated) - mini fridge in room stocked with a big carton of pineapple juice and 2L bottle of water upon arrival— Drinks from bar are definitely watered down - efes draft beer smelt and tasted eggy so we stopped drinking this as we new the lines needed cleaning - plenty of cartons of water to keep hydrated available from bar 24hrs would of preferred bigger 2L bottles during the day rather than small 200ml cartons me Just being picky I suppose - food was okay - just repetitive in a different style and placement on buffet style, did try some new things which was really nice, quite a few greedy people stock piling into there plate the best things so there is none left for others and wasting it - outside snack bar from 11am-4pm burgers and chips almost everyday stonebaked pizza every 3 days DELICIOUS! - soup and bread available 11pm-3am -!other guests was pleasant enough over the course of our stay of 7 nights we only met 4 English in total rest was Denmark,German,Russian but was very friendly and chatted to most - entertainment was bland just a dj/summer team quick picture quiz’s and disco no singers,dancers etc which you should expect during this time of year. Most staff very friendly, dj and summer team very friendly will play all your requests! Pool - was very murky Would I stay again possibly but for no longer than 7 days as it is enough.

Amazing staff very helpful food was amazing room cleaned everyday will defo stay again the dj was great for entertainment such a friendly hotel can’t wait to go back to see everyone again nothing was to much trouble staff alway ready to help with anything .

The hotel is very basic. Rooms are cleaned every day. Staff are very friendly. Good location for everything. Food was dreadful. There was no entertainment, no music playing during the day, and a complete lack of atmosphere. Will never go back to this hotel.
