Casa de Siete Balcones Hotel Boutique

This is a wonderful hotel. I was very slightly disappointed when stepping off the street to the front desk area, my expectations were for something ‘more grand’, however my thoughts were soon put to rest with the warm reception we received by Janice. Once we passed through the gates into the hotel foyer, it just got better by the minute, the beautiful warm colours on the walls, and the tropical flowers and plants in abundance were very inviting. There was a small fountain in the foyer setting a peaceful ambiance, contrasting the hustle and bustle of the streets. I already knew we had made the right choice. Our room was welcoming with tall old French doors offering lots of light. The king size bed was super comfortable with nice linens The shower was excellent. We had Immediate hot water, lots of space and nice robes and towels. The staff were amazing, totally gracious and helpful. Thank you Damian, Janis Michael and Inez I highly recommend this hotel.

What a lovely stay. This is a small boutique hotel. 7 rooms in an old colonial building. Comfortable bed and great bathroom. Nice towels and bath products offered. Continental breakfast was well done. The team at this hotel really made the difference. We were greeted at every arrival and departure. The dining and housekeeping team were so kind and welcoming. The location of this hotel cannot be beat! It’s two blocks north of the Zocolo. Three blocks south of Santo Domingo. Lively area but we couldn't hear outside noise. We will absolutely select this hotel for our next stay. It was a quick girls weekend but full of great food and memories. I cannot say enough about this property. Don’t hesitate to book here.

It's always hard to pick a home base when you go to a place you've never been. My friend and I agreed on Casa de Siete Balcones after reading the reviews. We were not disappointed. A small but cozy place to stay. It is centrally located near the square but within walking distance of the entire city. The staff was lovely. Janet was super helpful with everything and Inez is a gem! Inez prepared our lovely breakfast and indulged the many cups of coffee we needed. The entire staff was quick to help us with questions or suggestions. The room was very clean and quiet at night. Our room was right across from a very busy bus stop but you couldn't hear it when you closed the doors. The courtyard is pretty and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again. Thank you everyone!!!
