I think the CEO should pay a visit and experience some embarrassment viewing this place. The main problem by far is that right in the street in front of the hotel, there is a homeless encampment comprising half a dozen knackered RVs, broken cars, old sofas and such. I don’t see any drunks or ***** but there is noise and huge mess and it is not safe to walk out at night (as advised by the desk staff).
That aside, the hotel is quite shabby and run-down. The hall carpet needs replacing, and to be honest, the whole place needs a renovation.
Several of the laundry machines were broken. The hot tub of the pool is out of use. The water fountain also out of use.
The breakfast is OK for a budget US hotel but it produces an ungodly amount of single-use plastic waste. The pantry has barely anything in it. Due to the local area, if you don’t have a car, the only solution is to call takeaway for lunch and dinner. If you have a car, try another hotel nearby for dinner! There are several options.
The room is outdated but comfortable but could be cleaner—it’s dusty and there are crumbs and stuff.
Overall one of the most disappointing hotels I ever stayed in and a shame on the Wyndham brand.
