Oa Oa Lodge

沒有冷氣，沒有冷氣，沒有冷氣！在又潮濕又悶熱的地方沒有冷氣，需要開著門通風但是庭院內蚊蟲很多。房間東西非常舊。當天還有另一組客人和我們一樣，一進到房間就決定找別家飯店住！

Ventilation was a huge issue in the bath room and toilets. The beds were solid wood, which is good but the every one bumped multiple times as they had a huge frame covered underneath the bed sheet. It is not far from downtown so thats a plus however no airconditioners in the rooms. Though its on the water l, the water is 8-10 feet deep which kept us out of it. The views were great and I guess fpr the people who served us and the views are the reason the lodge gets 2 stars.

The location, pool, restaurant are all amazing! The rooms were probably once the quintessential Polynesian experience. With a little LTC they could be amazing again. But had everything you would want except AC if you desire that. The hotel seems like it’s straight out of a 60s James Bond movie and is beautiful overall. The service and attitudes of employees is lacking at the hotel. However the restaurant and I believe owner of the hotel was at the restaurant and Lisa is amazing as was our server! Overall our best meal in FP including moorea and the st Regis! I can’t wait to come back!

Tom picked me up from the Air Tahiti ferry in town and I was amazed that my bungalow was actually ready upon arrival in the early morning. The property is quaint and beautiful with an on-site restaurant and infinity pool. I was in partial over-water bungalow #1 . The room and balcony are quite spacious, however basic, and could definitely use an update and some TLC. Also, there is no air conditioning in this bungalow . The ceiling fan worked fairly well and I also slept with the balcony doors open for the breeze. I definitely could have used an extra fan though. The fridge worked well for my drinks and there is a closet next to the sink in the bathroom. The staff is one of the things that makes this property special. Tom is wonderful and Lisa in the restaurant is also fabulous. The food was pretty good, too. It's about a 20 minute walk to town and a 5-10 minute walk to a couple of other restaurants. Thank you very much for the hospitality!

Lovely little place with a perfect infinity pool overlooking the lagoon. The bungalows are spacious if a little dated (not really much use for cooking with just two electric rings in the kitchenette) but are perfectly comfortable with, in our room, a large King Bed and outdoor covered seating/table area. There is a ladder down to the lagoon which in January was even warmer than the mainly freshwater pool. WiFi limited to the pool area where there is plenty of seating, tables and beach chairs. We didn’t use the on-site restaurant: two minutes walk up the road away from town was a lovely immaculately clean pizzeria van with good prices and decent toppings (closed Tuesday). In the direction of the town there are two supermarkets within fifteen mins walk and a number of restaurants and burger vans. It was hard to work out which were open when!

This place was reasonably cheap for bora bora and worth the money. We stayed in one that was partially over the water and it was awesome. Having the view to just sit on the balcony and enjoy was nice. Sunsets from there were spectacular. The owner, Lisa (pardon if I was wrong) was awesome and down to earth to talk with. She always made an attempt to make us feel as welcome as possible. You can snorkel right of the dock and see plenty of fish and rays. However, it drops off fast so you need to stay close otlr you can't see. The negatives would be that the room isn't noise resistant so you can here most noises and if you sleep light that could bother you. The beds are kind of hard, but I didn't mind. And they could use some maintenance especially on Decking. Just another note, the pool is salt water. We had a guest join us a couple times I had to remove, a crab. I thought that was hilarious.
