Authentic hotel, exceptional service, incredible food (lunch & dinner), fairly good breakfast, stunning views and set in a fantastic location. Everything you need and very good value for money. Highly recommend. The staff in particular cannot do enough for you.

Location was great, if you look for a small authentic place to feel real charm of the tropical paradise. The view from the Ocean view Suite was amazing. White-sand beach with the ocean entrance was just in some steps down. Tides were calm enough and didn't make serious problems - you can swim smoothly most of the time. The room was clean. The hotel's restaurant was good and there were some ones around. The hotel's staff was extremley friendly and did their best. It was a real pleasure. Special thanks to Noela from the restaurant team - she is a stunning girl who does a great job. Despite the room we had (Ocean view Suite) was clean and was being well cleaned every day, it extremly requires rennovation. The most of furniture and room/bathroom equipment was very old, not properly working and must be changed. The beach life near the hotel was quite active and noisy with a "fish market" at about 6am every morning where locals bought fish (in fact, it can be even interesting if you don't sleep) and with a DJ who worked at the restaurant next door. It was not an issue for us but can be a problem if you need silence.

The picturesque coastline is undoubtedly the highlight of this property, and waking up to such views is a delight. The staff at Zenobia Hotel are another positive aspect, always greeting guests with warm smiles and offering helpful assistance throughout the stay. Their friendliness adds a personal touch that is much appreciated. However, the hotel falls short in several key areas. While the cleanliness is maintained, the overall quality of the hotel is quite poor. The amenities and facilities are lacking, and the decoration and infrastructure are in need of significant upgrades. The price of the stay does not align with the value provided, making it feel overpriced for what is offered. The Wi-Fi service is a major drawback. The connection is extremely slow and frequently disconnects, making it frustrating for guests who need reliable internet access. Additionally, the restaurant at Zenobia Hotel is mediocre at best, and the breakfast leaves much to be desired. The quality of the food is poor, with only the coffee and some fruit being acceptable. The area surrounding the hotel can feel a bit unsettling, especially at night. While it’s possible to walk around, the dark streets contribute to a sense of insecurity. It’s worth noting that this may be a broader issue in Zanzibar, but it’s still a concern for those staying in the area. Beach vendors, known locally as "beach boys," are pervasive and can be quite intrusive. They frequently approach guests, trying to sell excursions or ask for money, which can be bothersome and detracts from the overall experience. In hindsight, I regret choosing Zenobia Hotel and would not recommend it to others. Based on our experience, it’s unlikely that I would choose to stay here again.

It was so bad hospitality was bad food made my family sick facility’s are bad location beds are bad toilets are bad showers are bad bad Wi-Fi people surrounding the hotel are so annoying. They try to give you everything they try to talk to you the place you’re so bad I would this place literally zero out of 100 it was not good here. I did not enjoy my time here. everything was bad the food was bad everything was so so bad the ants were in the bathroom they were in the toilet they were in the sink they were in everywhere. The soap is literally bad for your skin. I did not like it here.
