Marival Emotions Resort & Suites - All Inclusive

Honestamente no volvería a reservar con Marival emotions Vallarta, ni en ningún hotel de su cadena, han sido de las peores vacaciones en familia que he tenido, desde que llegamos todo estuvo mal. 1. Nos entregaron las 2 habitaciones y eran las incorrectas, aunque las llaves abrieron eran de otros huéspedes y nos tuvimos que salir, al ir a recepción a aclarar la situación, ni disculpas pidieron. 2. En el cuarto y los pasillos encontramos en varias ocasiones cucarachas. 3. Nuestra habitación en 3 ocasiones de 4 no pudo ser limpiada ya que a las 5 de la tarde seguía sin hacerse y era la hora en que subíamos a bañarnos y descansar. 4. No hay meseros en las albercas y el bar de la alberca lo cierran a las 5pm. 6. Los camastros de la playa no los limpiaban, todos los días amanecían sucios de arena, además de que no eran suficientes ni los de la alberca para la cantidad de huéspedes y la gente terminaba sentándose en el piso o en los jardines frente a las habitaciones. 7. La reserva de restaurante a la carta, solo tienes derecho a 2 cuando te hospeda por 5 noches. 8. Los meseros en los restaurantes evidentemente no son suficientes para la cantidad de huéspedes, ya que su servicio no era bueno, tardaban muchísimo en traer las bebidas o de plano no lo traían. 9. En una ocasión en el buffet había una área para preparar licuados y tenían fruta a escoger, le pedí al que estaba atendiendo si me podía regalar un poco de kiwi aunque no fuera licuado y me lo negó, me dijo que solo era para los licuados y no podía tomarlo. 10. La reserva no incluye wifi para que lo consideren, el cajero no servía, los elevadores muuuuuy descuidados... En fin. Entiendo que te pase 1 o 2 cosas que no te agraden en una estancia pero creo que esto fue más que solo mala suerte, es evidente que el hotel no se preocupa por la calidad en el servicio, no deberían decir que es de 5 estrellas, cuando claramente parece de 2. Les recomiendo pensarlo 2 veces antes de reservar en este hotel, lo único rescatable es la comida, felicidades al chef y la playa.

Only people 18 years and older can use the hot tubs, so if you bring children be warned. They have pool tables, ping pong and video games, but they are only available for teenagers. So if you have younger children be warned. They have mini golf but only enough balls for 6 people to play at a time. So don't expect to be able to play. It costs $150 USD to buy a boogie board at the resort store so bring your own water toys with you. If you want to dine at a restaurant you will need to book four days in advance. So good luck getting in to be able to eat there.

Exceeded our expectation's. Don’t listen to the nay sayers. We were nervous based upon reviews we read prior to coming. Far from the truth. Special mentions to Javier at Mai Tai, David at the quiet swim up bar, Natalia at the front desk to name just a few. I wish I remembered the older gentleman’s name at the buffet as he was our best experience in the hotel. We are from Canada and he used to live in Yellowknife for a time and was just the most friendly individual ever. Don’t miss out on the shows at night. Kids loved the magic show and Michael Jackson show.

Common over most 0f the last 22 years at Marival) is that someone in our groups ranging from 4 to 9 persons ends with severe cases of flu. We believe in most cases it is caused by the food we eat.

Pool is too cold…warm one of them up. Drinks are watered down and terrible. No more bottle of tequila in our room :/. Catch of the day bbq was awesome.

When we checked in they gave a club room which was from 1990, t wo small beds window view a building and large tree. W e managed to move to the resort room after which was excellent. In the past there was transportation to and from the resort not so this time we had to pay for both ways. Also bar , out door service and pizza ovens not opened during the day as was previously.

As many other reviews stated, our group of 6 was not very impressed by the buffet food. The lunch on the beach and themed dinner nights as well at the snack bar/pizza bar were good though! Martin and Fabian were absolutely wonderful and stood out to us as excellent staff members!

The staff are very friendly The food wasn’t that great The rooms were basic. Be aware no elevator in the Club building which makes it a little difficult with kids (and a stroller) the Bathroom in the room was minimally cleaned The property it self was nice (pools, tennis court, games room the nightly shows)

Pros: good for little kids, food and drink were okay, grounds and landscaping was beautiful, beach was large and sand was soft, the shows were entertaining, tennis court is in good condition. The Italian restaurant. Mini golf. Theme nights were fun. Cons: staff weren’t super friendly, almost felt like an annoyance to them?, all of the pools are either kiddie pools or either pretty deep, room was dingy and old, refreshments in the fridge were never replenished, our microwave didn’t work (hard with a baby), the restaurant reservation is such a bad system, we got ****** into the “member” presentation, took us to the nicer resort, waste of 3 hours (our fault I know), no elevators in the hotel rooms (hard with a stroller), and to top it off we got food poisoning on our second last day (from the meat and seafood restaurant)… not a great way to end off the trip. Would probably not come back.
