Palazzo Rainis Hotel & Spa - Small Luxury Hotel - Adults Only

This is a very nice property. Peaceful, decently designed, though could be a bit upgraded for the overall ambition. Apart from one person vey nice staff. Excellent breakfast with their special egges I fully recommend. If it was possible to give 4,5, I would give it 4,5. I give 5 really for and exquisit full experience.

The hotel is very nicely furnished. Super wellness and outdoor pool. The receptionists are very friendly. They have excellent breakfasts with an offer of local delicacies. Truffles, prosciutto, cheese and fish. The rooms are clean and tidy. The mini bar is well stocked and the first refill is included in the price. The service to the room is good. The selection of dishes is smaller and the portions are small. Bicycle rental is a very good additional offer.

Palazzo Rainis is the absolute definition of a boutique hotel. Excellent and attentive service, charming and luxurious rooms, indulgent breakfasts, and spotless facilities. The location was a little tucked away from the heart of Novigrad, but is an easy walk into town. No need for taxis to restaurants and beaches at all. Since it was a little further from night life, we enjoyed peaceful and quiet nights sleep (though we'd have loved a bit more air conditioning). The room itself was plush and beautifully decorated with high-end bathroom fixtures. We loved our balcony overlooking the marina and enjoyed mini-bar drinks there each night (the first refill of the mini-bar is included!). The breakfast was probably the best we had in Croatia as it included an extensive, high-quality buffet as well as a cooked dish of choice. They even offered breakfast fizz to get our days started in a luxurious way! We didn't use the pool, though it was beautiful and inviting. The sauna was a nice treat and was well-maintained. We would happily stay at Palazzo Rainis again and will recommend it to friends.

An excellent hotel in front of the ocean with a great and personalized service. The breakfast is a high quality experience. I recommend the eggs Benedict and the charcuterie. The swimming pool is very nice and quiet, and beaches near by are very friendly. It is a great location in Novigrad, close to multiple great towns and cities (in Croatia and other countries). The personnel is excellent and will help you with any need you have: reservations, recommendations, attractions, etc. do not doubt it and enjoy it.

Very disappointed by the service. A spa was advertised and was why we chose here, but when we wanted to use it reception refused on the basis that someone else had chosen to privatise it, despite it being during its normal "public" hours. And so we paid for a.spa we couldn't use despite being advised we could. Will not be coming back.

This hotel is every piece as idyllic and beautiful as it looks in the pictures. What the pictures don't show is the incredible service from every person who works there. We felt so welcomed and so looked after it was bliss. We had made it part of our 10 year wedding anniversary trip and it was our absolute highlight. Breakfast is fantastic with a range from local Istrian meats and cheeses, eggs however you'd like (do the eggs benedict or florentine at least once, they're incredible) breads and pastries all brought to your table. But there's a selection of fruits, salads, more meats and cheeses, cereals and more if you feel like something is missing. There is an option to book for a 3, 6 or 9 course tasting menu for dinner, which we opted for the 6 course for one evening. It was outstanding and up there with Michelin restaurants we've eaten in previously. It was perfectly paced, outstanding food and well worth the money we paid. The only question we had was how on earth you could fit in 9 courses!! We used the small gym which was perfectly adequate for what we needed on holiday and saw others using it too. Didn't have chance to test the spa sadly. Possibly the nicest part of this hotel is that it is tucked on the other side of the bay to the main centre and therefore feels a bit more secluded and makes for a beautiful view across the bay - which I believe all rooms get. If you like dogs you have an added bonus that you are very close to the doggie beach which in missing our canine friend was a delight to watch the pups having a paddle!!

I must share that I was thoroughly impressed with my recent stay at the Palazzo Rainis. From the classic décor and design to the charming staff, I felt pampered and well cared for. The breakfast: delicious. The luxury elegance of the rooms and pool: simply magical. The beds were the best I’ve EVER slept in, including at home. Highly recommend this Hotel & Spa as a very special destination spot for all those seeking quality and comfort in an exquisitely stylish and beautiful setting. This hotel might have been the best hotel I've stayed in. It deserves 5 stars, not 4. Bravo! Thank you Team Palazzo!
