Premier Inn Nottingham City Centre (Goldsmith Street) hotel

Lovely friendly staff. The breakfast was cooked to order, which was nice. The room was the consistent standard you get from Premier Inn, which is good. But beware of the parking. £27 for the day/night and £2.95 booking fee for arranging the parking myself.

The room was fairly clean. Breakfast was okay. The hotel is base in the city centre next to the tramline , access to the hotel is very limited.Parking is at the back of the hotel is very limited and very expensive , you pay £27.00 for 24 hours parking,if you stay for 20 minutes and then decide you want to leave you would still have pay 27 pounds,staying at this hotel for a few days could cost you an absolute fortune in parking.

Our stay was absolutely terrible. There was blood stains on the bed sheet, the breakfast was disgusting. Waste of money, would not recommend. Conveniently my reviews keep getting taken down, looks like they only like to keep the good reviews.

We went to a conference at Trent Vineyard and some of us stayed at this Premier Inn. One of the staff called Ray was very helpful when we called beforehand. Booking in on arrival was OK, although the reception staff also seemed to double up as waiters and waitresses. Ray also helped bring our bags downstairs when both lifts were out of order on our final morning. Food was cooked well for evening meals and breakfasts. There was no decaf tea in the rooms, or at breakfast. I find this a regular problem in Premier Inns! Car parking was very expensive at £22 a day unless you have a blue badge and park on neighbouring pay and display streets. Do ask for a bath mat for the bath as the floor is slippery in the bath and there do not appear to be any rooms with walk-in showers. There was some intrusive noise from the car park all night; maybe an extractor from the kitchens? The bed was not as comfortable as usual in a Premier Inn. The rooms and décor are a bit tired, but it was fine for our stay.

Great location in walking distance of the city centre and a tram stop outside. Really friendly and helpful staff. Went during the warm period in April with temperatures of 21degC but the room stayed nice and cool despite the lack of air conditioning. Nights were still a little chilly and the heating warmed the room up nicely. Breakfast was good. Costa in the bar area. Couldn’t ask for more! Would definitely come again!

While in the UK, I always choose Premier Inn, particularly when I travel with kids. Their English breakfast are so good! Now kids eat free not only in the morning but whole day. Premier Inn City Centre has excellent staff: kind, patient, caring and cheerful. No matter of the day time, including at 5am, they are always there for us, the guests. Nicky is fantastic with kids and people of all age. My son spilled over juice and she comforted us it did not mind. The chef brought warm pancakes repeatedly to our table. Beds are comfy and room very quite. My mom likes it here very much, too.
