Clair de Lune

Good idea but lacks in execution. The only positives for me are the front desk staff and comfortable bed. On the negatives, the rooms are too dark and stuffy (install dimmers instead), cleanliness can be improved upon... some areas were dusty and there were blood stains (guessing mosquito blood) on parts of the mosquito net and bed sheets, the mosquito net had big holes, mosquito repellent spray was not available, shower inadequate.

The hotel it’s self is clean, the food is fine ( very boring menu and breakfast over priced but fine) and the bathrooms are lovely. The Malagasy staff who work there are also lovely especially Deno. The issue lies entirely with Eric the manager who is obnoxious, unwelcoming and inhospitable, and honestly that’s the nicest way to say it. We had noticed the fan in our room wasn’t working - this is advertised as air conditioning and is shocking even when it does work. We mentioned this to one of the staff before going out for the evening hoping it could be fixed. When we got back we asked if someone could come with us to look at the fan. Eric then decided to berated us saying it was far too late (8pm) to be raising problems, we were being extremely difficult and we can’t expect anything to be done if we refuse to speak French ( which is untrue we said the fan was broken in french ). He then proceeded to bring the person we had told the fan was broken into our room almost as if to prove we hadn’t asked. It was a horrible experience, he was extremely threatening and rude and racist towards the boy who we had asked to look at the fan. I highly recommend not staying here. There are loads of other lovely places to stay on the island and everyone else has been great.

nous y avons passer un mois excellent un très jolie cadre des bungalows propres et agréables une belle piscine le personnel vraiment adorable et très disponible des patrons agréable et comme nous étions en demi-pension pendant un mois le cuisinier a fait en sorte de renouveler sa carte afin de ne pas nous resservir la même chose et nous y avons très bien manger. par contre si vous ne supporter pas le bruit il y en a ! mais c'est le bruit de la vie, un bébé qui pleure un chien qui aboie un coq qui chante des oiseaux on est en ville + ou- mais le personnel et les patrons font en sortent qu'il n'y ai pas du bruit plus qu'il ne faut.

Le personnel est tres sympa et font tout pour que le séjour se passe bien. Restaurant de l hotel propre et bon.nous avons passé un agréable séjour et nous y retournerons.

Excellent séjour dans un cadre magnifique. Très grande hospitalité et gentillesse du personnel. Chambre confortable et spacieuse et très calmes C'est une adresse que je recommande à coup sûr et je suis prêt à y revenir

Endroit à taille humaine avec un personnel très sympa. Des bungalow , d'une propreté irréprochable , implantés dans un jardin tropical très bien tenu. Je vous conseille de déguster le foie gras fait maison par la propriétaire, un vrai régal pour les papilles

Personnels au bon soin, disponibles et avenants .Gérante super sympa. Cadre agréable : on sent l yang yang dès le matin , piscine jamais bondée. Cuisine excellente ( les quelques fois qu on y a pris nos repas).Grand bungalow avec sa véranda ( un petit hic : un peu sombre ) Localisation : ni trop loin , ni trop près de la plage .La marche à pied pour visiter le quartier n est que benefique. Bref , on est très satisfait.

Havre de paix au sein d'une ville en constante animation. Calme, agréable, à la végétation luxuriante, c'est à peine si on a envie de ressortir. Idéalement disposés au sein de la propriété, les bungalows sont spacieux, aux couleurs locales, dotés d'une terrasse et équipés d'une literie de qualité. Les propriétaires sont sympathiques, dispensant de précieux conseils et restent à l'écoute de leur clients. Le personnel est charmant et souriant. La table est excellente les produits étant de qualité et même si la carte est simple c'est un plaisir de s'y restaurer. Mention spéciale au très bon chef qui se fait un plaisir de satisfaire vos envies culinaires. Enfin bref, on s'y sent chez soi et nous y retournerons assurément.

Une direction (Francia et Eric) et un personnel attentifs aux souhaits des voyageurs, clients de l'hôtel. Hygiène, tarifs, sourires et communication sont les atouts majeurs du "Clair de Lune". Viande tendres et bons vins à la demande et à tous les prix. Une adresse à retenir... Franck
