Great help for all the staff especially LJ been here for the last few weeks really made it feel like home, going above and beyond in all aspects any issues or questions have always been sorted straight away with a smile. Really recommend a stay here thank you again to LJ

I stay here for work weekly and always happy with my stay here it's always clean and staff are always welcoming , LJ and Kayla always service with a smile and nothing is ever too much for them . char always makes a cracking breakfast hotel is one of the best I've stayed in , only thing I will say is a disappointment is the phone signal recently has dropped but no WiFi offered due to this and still have to pay for this , this would be a good gesture to your guests through the signal issues but amazing hotel and staff

The room was dirty there was no towels and the kettle still had water in was totally unacceptable to the extent that I just walked out and never stayed I was so disappointed

After coming back to this Travel lodge from a rough day at work, I demolished the sizzling chicken with salad and chips, now I was highly satisfied with my main course but then Lindsay only went and made the best knickerbocker Glory I've ever had in my life. 10/10 will eat again. Thank you very much, will sleep happy now. Dean

This relatively new hotel is great! It is immaculately clean, the staff are all so helpful & cheerful and although “Travel Lodge” is known for being a workman’s stay of choice it is really a first class stay. It may be basic but the rooms are ALWAYS immaculate, tea & coffee & toiletries provided. There is a small breakfast/meal/ licensed bar which is manned at all hours and is really a very, very good choice for a cheap and cheerful stay when in the North East.

Had a wonderful experience on my stay here, Lindsay was friendly and attentive. Being a night owl im back back and forth during the night and she was always doing something which is nice to see. Lovely work ethic. Breakfast on the morning was lovely too.

I have been staying regularly at this hotel over the last 5 years. It has never let me down, the staff are reliable and welcoming. Special thanks go to Lindsay who excelled in her professional management of my stay. This Travelodge is exceptional.

Phone signal disappears as soon as you set foot inside, pay for the WiFi and that doesn't get much better, free WiFi should be available. Rooms are clean, tidy, and the staff, Lj, char, lindsey and others that I'm not familiar with are all friendly and helpful.

The front desk staff (LJ) are very welcoming and you are greeted with a smile ... It's a very happy and funny atmosphere never short of a laugh. Rooms are very today and clean... Very good value for money. Every time I stay here I always feel welcomed an happy to return
