This has to be the worst hostel that I have stayed at. The kitchen is the worst I’ve ever seen. Dirty dishes everywhere and the cooking area is terrible. The rooms are poorly cleaned and I don’t think that they ever have cleaned the AC or the windows in any rooms in the building. Good luck with getting any help by the people working there. The only nice person was a young guy but the others were terrible. Bad attitude towards all customers that I heard them talk to. But the worst thing of all has to be the “AC”. They have som idea that they should save energy by not using the AC during the day and some parts of the night. I can of course understand that they don’t want to leave it on during the day. But to not turn it on during night time is awful. It’s just a bad excuse for saving money. The room was so hot that someone had to open the door. And if you go and ask the people working there they will just tell you that it’s always like that. To sleep in a full 16 dorm with no AC is like sleeping in a sauna. Not even the WiFi is good. The only good thing about this place is that it’s pretty close to everything and that they have a pool. I spent 5 nights there and I would not recommend it at all. I lived in a 16 dorm and a 8 dorm room.

Spacious rooms with toilets and showers. Spacious kitchen. Friendly staff. Night club with events every night and delicious food. The menu options were limited. Spacious outdoor area. 20 min walk from Noosa main beach or you can jump on the bus. 2 min walks to nearest shops.

Nice bar and outside area - rooms not so nice. Separate rooms for the shower and toilet but the sink was in the room with the shower - not very helpful if you have just been to the toilet and someone is in the shower. Lots of mould in bathroom. Most of the staff helpful and friendly

The room itself was very good. We were in a PRIVATE room with a shared en-suite. We tried our best to keep our conversations quiet as we didn’t want to bother our neighbours with them being so close. We were in bed by 10.30 and were awoken at 12.50am by loud shouting, our neighbouring guest trying to get into our room, fighting with her partner and vomiting. This lasted for 3 hours and she had locked herself into the bathroom so I had to go use the outside communal bathroom. Likewise, as I brushed my teeth this morning the bathroom was covered in vomit. I brought this to the attention of staff and it was dismissed. Had I wanted to share my stay with other guests, I would have booked a dorm. Hoping my stay in Nomads Sydney is a better experience.
