We stayed in MEHTAB RESORTS on our visit to Srinagar in September 2024. This beautiful establishment is located in the lap of nature on the Foothills of Zabarwan Mountains and has the most charming and mesmerizing views of the Dal Lake.It is much more than a hotel and is like a cozy and comfy abode,a home away from home where we were provided with the best of amenities and very classy and homely service. The gardens of the resort have been maintained immaculately with a great host of fruit bearing trees for the viewing pleasures of its guests.Our room was spotless and clean.The views from our room were so breathtaking that we could enjoy the evenings in peace admiring the Dal Lake in front of us and the Zabarwan mountains at the back. The food was really sumptuous and excellent.It greatly exceeded our expectations as it was prepared with great efforts and culinary prowess. The staff was extremely respectful and helpful.They provided the best and greatest services available-perfect as we would like to call it on our end.We would like to thank and extend our warmest gratitude to MR.MUSARAT ASLAM,the owner of the MEHTAB RESORTS and his fantastic team, in particular, SHAYIQ,ANWAR,JAVID, BASANT AND FAREED. Our Kashmir trip was greatly facilitated due to the wonderful sightseeing itinerary created by them which consisted of the Mughal Gardens nearby,local tours and other popular and niche places such as Sonamarg,Doodhpathri,Yusmarg,Pahalgam and Gulmarg etc.They arranged the Cab for us at reasonable fares which made our trip very economical, exciting and memorable. We thank them for creating such a fantastic atmosphere and praiseworthy stay and service of a place that we feel exudes tremendous warmth ,thoughtfulness and the very heart of Kashmiri Hospitality that makes this Resort a home coming to again and again. Thank you !!!

Mehtab Resorts is a beautiful and lovely place,a home away from home.We had a really awesome experience in this resort which is located on Foothills in Nishat,Srinagar. It's location is a really plus point for traveller's who want to experience the serene surroundings of the mountains at the back and mesmerizing views of Dal Lake at the front viewed from a height.It is a very well maintained property and the owner and staff are very courteous and cater to each and every need of yours,your children and family.As regards cleanliness,the place is very clean and nice.A lovely garden with fruit trees gives a person ethereal experience, a deva ju kind of a feeling. Nishat garden is walking distance from this place and you can explore Kashmiri culture around the place .The Kashmiri hospitality at this resort is at its best.They would arrange pick and drop cab for you and arrange a taxi for you to travel to different places in Kashmir such as Pahalgam, Gulmarg,Gurez,Dhoodhpathri ,******** as per your itinerary and the process and your stay gets smooth and pleasurable. Some of the staff members particularly Shayiq, Anwar,Fareed,Javid and Basant take care of each and every need of yours.They are youngsters adept in hotel management skills and the owner and the other team members work in unison to make the most of your stay in that beautiful resort. Last but not the least,the review would be incomplete if I fail to mention the food offered to the guests at this Beautiful resort. There is variety and the cuisine is sumptuous and you would get fresh vegetarian and non vegetarian food at their restaurant. Just enjoy the stay away from the hustle and bustle of a busy life and crowded places in Srinagar. We thank the staff for a wonderful stay and an equally wonderful experience at the resort.Shall visit the place again soon.

Nice resort with great scenery from the roof top, clean rooms and washroom, Mr. Fareed in housekeeping helped us A lot in arranging food and extended services to us. Their owner personally took care of all guest in the resort. Will recommend to all.

One of the worst resort in Srinagar. First of all the resort is far away from the Dal Lake area. The lake that you see in their picture is also Dal Lake, but no tourist come to this part of the lake. The rooms are untidy and bathroom are full of spiders. Then comes the food - very very spicy and their veg & non-veg buffet rates are same, i.e. 500/-. Since my wife was not feeling well so she took only rice, for that they charged 500 as well. If you are visiting Srinagar, don't stay in this property - facilities are worst and their manager the worst Kashmiri person that I have ever meet.
