Timber Wolf Inn Motel

Needed overnight accommodations and by recommendation we found this gem! Very clean, nicely decorated and owner was very helpful. There is a breezeway that separates the rooms from the highway which reduced traffic noise. Very close to Ducky’s Diner which proved to be a nice place to eat.

I showed up in the middle of the night, exhausted, no reservation and the owner kindly got out of bed and gave me one of the last available rooms. I wasn’t expecting anything other than somewhere to sleep and I was touched by her kindness both upon arrival and in the morning and also by the state of my room! This place has been completely gutted and redone on the inside. It is impeccably clean and updated. The bed was very comfortable and the room and fresh decor quite cozy. I went from expecting nothing to becoming a loyal customer for life. I will go out of my way to stay here. In a world that has become large and impersonal there is still a little place called Nipigon, not too far outside of Thunder Bay, where salt of the earth people will have not only your back but also a comfy bed waiting for you. Highly recommend.

This little motel is awesome! The beds are comfortable, I had a great sleep! The inside is nicely done, new and with all the ameneties needed including a freezer inside the fridge. It is priced well and i would definitely stay here again. There are also a lot of options around the hotel for eating. It is on the highway but you don't hear a thing when you are in your room.
