We visited p and p for my birthday. My husband and I had a great time. The spa was excellent, great service, beautiful resort. The restaurant was amazing. The food, I had the lamb , hubby had steak. Both great. David was our server, he was fast and thorough. Mercedes in the Spa was the best. All in all, we will be back!

It was a fantastic time! It was a birthday surprise for me and one of the best ever gifts. It’s so hard to pick one thing that was my favourite from this experience. Ice skating gave me flashbacks to when I learned to skate as a young child at my schools outdoor rink in the Ottawa Valley. Will definitely be back.

If you check my other reviews you will see that I seldomly give a poor review but the room were were given was $100-$120.00 or more than it should have been. That is my issue. A couple of free drinks in the pub does not make up for the fact that what I assume was Dynamic pricing on a Saturday night meant we paid 4star price for a 2.5 star room. Old, very small, beat-up bathroom that needs a major upgrade, very small non-descript room with comfortable bedding/towels, a window rendered useless as it was completely covered by the verge outside it, a fireplace that never really turned off as pilot light flame so high it lit up the room when dark room was wanted. Outdoor pool water too cold, indoor hot tub was fun & warm. And although we had put out the "Do Not Disturb" sign, on our 2nd night we came back to room after seeing My Fair Lady, to find that the 'flower' distributor had come in and put an unwanted rose on our bed. If the hotel needs to enter rooms for security I'm fine with that - just tell me up front so I can tidy the area, else what use is providing guests with a sign that is being ignored? Staff all great, loved the bar room, friendly staff , good food, restaurant for breakfast is lovely & service there great as well, but the overly pricey room meant that the 2-night stay should have included one morning of breakfast for 2. That would have been fair and rendered you a review filled with praise. More
