Super 8 by Wyndham Newton

Filled out the online check-in, but I was still asked for all the same information when getting the key so I have no idea what the purpose is of the online check-in. After getting the key I headed to the room and found the door open. The room smelled like urine, the carpet was not vacuumed and the bathroom was filthy. There was hair on the bathroom walls and grime on the tub. Will not stay here again or any other super 8.

Price was a bit high for the hotel but it was NASCAR weekend and it was a last minute reservation after our original hotel cancelled our reservation two hour before check-in.

Our room was dirty especially the floor. Ask for it to be vacuumed but was not. Breakfast was a crockpot of reheated sausage gravy with limited other items. Only reason we stayed is because there were no other rooms available in the surrounding area.

Dirty, old, smelled. Stains on sheets. Stayed 3 days and never gave clean towells and had to ask. Did not speak good english. Do not stay.

Never again The air in the hallways didn’t work or they didn’t have it turned on. The smoke detector in the room had no battery, The floor in the room looked like it hadn’t been vacuumed and the sheets and blankets had a bunch of stains on them. We checked into the room and left to go to our event and got back really late. The air in our room worked just barely enough to keep it somewhat cool but still hot. When we realized we didn’t have enough towels we went to the front desk and no one was there. We tried calling the front desk several times and ringing the bell and no one would answer. Finally someone did answer but wouldn’t say anything. Just sat the phone down. I could hear them typing and doing other stuff but literally ignoring me. Then they hung the phone back up. The next morning when I complained about the cleaninless of the room, the service etc she told me that due to storms the phone didn’t work. However, it didn't storm that morning till 5 am. She also told me that we should have asked to switch rooms but the hotel was sold out and they were never at the desk to even ask! This place isn’t safe and it smells musty and like mildew. The health dept needs to check this place out and the front desk clerk told me that it just needed a deep cleaning.

Dump Dump should be condemned!!! Rooms were horrible! Stunk like mold, dirty, bathroom moldy and dirty. Service terrible didn’t speak English Place was a dump
