Scarlet Hotel

Two days of pure escapism in the Cornish sunshine. Treated to exceptional meals, the staff were really attentive and I had lovely options for vegan meals. The Just-right room was perfect for us & the bed really comfortable; as it faces the sea, you wake up to the incredible view of the rugged coastline and turquoise sea. The treatments and spa experiences we tried were all excellent. Mix and match to make your stay personalised to your needs. For those who like to explore, bring suitable footwear & take the short hike up the coast path in front of the hotel for incredible views! For those who don't, book a clifftop hot tub instead! We will certainly try to arrange a spa-day again at The Scarlet very soon to try some of the other treatments on offer.

My wife and I keep coming back because although the service and food is excellent it is not highly formal. There are no stuffy uniforms. All the staff are polite, friendly and efficient. The atmosphere is very relaxed.

Special place and friendly competent staff. Great choice if you want a quiet relaxing get away. Close to the Newquay Airport too.

Loved everything, the room, the view, the staff, the food, access to the beach. I love the sea side chicness of the hotel. The restaurant staff are so friendly and proud of the hotel, they really are a credit, I hope they are appreciated.

Extremely good stay from start to finish. Reassuringly on the pricey side but was worth it for a special occasion.

Scarlet ticks every box! It is the ultimate wonderful hotel to stay. Arriving at its perfect location by thd sea, sets a wonderful scene. Every thought and detail has gone into making your stay a very special treat. Excellent food and I love the ethos of sustainable and all things eco. The spa element adds to the pure relaxation and enjoyment. There is no reason to leave Scarlet when you are there it has everything you could possibly need and everyone is kind, helpful and very friendly.

Our first time at the Scarlett. beautiful rooms. great spa. Very helpful and friendly staff. Super tasty food in the bar and the restaurant. Beware the small plates in the bar are not so small. the crab rarebit was a favourite along with the linguini.

We had the best time ever - All the Staff were friendly whilst remaining professionally, the hotel was lovely and clean, our massages were excellent, and the facilities were brilliant too. The position of the hotel is wonderful, lovely views and listening to the sea when you fall asleep and again when you wake up is a feeling you just cannot put a price on. The food was out of this world. I went for my 60th Birthday and was made to feel wonderful - Thank you to all the staff

The perfect location, Mawgan Porth is the most beautiful beach. This is our special place our sanctuary. All staff are so welcoming and kind, genuinely happy and make you feel at home. We love the spa treatments and leave feeling rested and restored. The food is heavenly an exciting local menu. We are so looking forward to our next stay.
