Penhallow House

Fantastic hosts! Beautiful location! Yurt impeccably clean and spacious! Amenities close to hand; electric blankets and heater was a welcomed extra! Local pub was brilliant, so welcoming and great service! Definitely be back again!!!!

We had and incredible time at Penhallow House (2 adults, 1 infant). We spent a long weekend there and it was lovely. The tent was large and roomy, more than big enough for us. The communal areas were clean and comfy. And Rich made us feel really, really welcome – he went above and beyond. We loved the free roaming chickens and chicks, and my son enjoyed visiting the guinea pig too! We were also pleasantly surprised at how close it was to Leppa Valley, where we took our little one for the day. Overall, we had a blast. Highly recommend, would love to go back!

Super place to stay, spacious with comfy beds, heated blankets, clean toilets and shower - and breakfast available if required, Out in the peaceful countryside less than 15minues from the golf course and beaches of Perranporth. Highly recommended

We've just had a lovely week at Penhallow House. The hosts Ian and Richard are so friendly and can't do enough for their guests. We stayed in a bell tent (for the first time) and loved it! Very comfortable with lots of extras, giving it that homely feel. The farm house for breakfast is lovely and the Summer house is great for relaxing after a hard day at the beach !😜We will definitely be back!

really nice place in the fields, very relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and really helpful. great walks around the place. nice village friendly locals. lots of beaches within reach. great location as you are pretty much in the centre of Cornwall.

Really enjoyed the stay the host was really helpful, the pod was clean, cosy and we slept really well. The ice cream that was available was lovely. Breakfast very nice but was basic. Chickens friendly. We would suggest the installation of another shower as you had to get up early to get a shower and there was a queue when the site was fully booked. Enjoyed our stay would stay again. .

A gorgeous venue, a real hidden gem! The yurt we stayed in was beautiful, clean and very comfortable. The beds were so soft and the electric blankets made it extremely cozy. Your own personal fire pits outside are an amazing addition, and you can purchase all you need at the shop on site. It may be a shared bathroom but it never felt like it. All other guests were extremely clean and respectful plus there are more loos about if occupied with a shower. The guys running Penhallow are 10/10 and would return for banter with Ian ANY DAY! The free roaming chickens and chick's are adorable and lovely to see. Really loved absolutely every second of our stay and already planning an even longer return as It's a lovely escape from every day life

I came here with my best friend for a long weekend and cannot speak highly enough about our stay. The staff were phenomenal, so welcoming and accommodating and friendly. The yurts were spacious, clean and well equipped with heated sheets and plenty of plugs for electronics. There are chickens, chicks and cockerels roaming free which was so lovely to see and all the people surrounding us were so considerate and lovely too! All of the yurts have fire pits outside them and you can purchase logs, coal and kindling from the little shop on site which has an honesty box and price list which we thought was a lovely touch. All the beaches and restaurants we wanted to go too were only 10-15 minutes from the yurts by drive ( we would recommend The Boathouse, Grilld and ROSA) Our hosts couldn’t do enough for us and even offered to put us up for another night free of charge when my car battery wouldn’t start on the day we were due to leave! Luckily we managed to get the car started but honestly we were sort of gutted! Honestly cannot recommend Penhallow House highly enough, we will 100% be back thank you for such a relaxing and memorable stay. Special mention to Ian who had us laughing from the get go and was so helpful and welcoming, but genuinely all the staff were brilliant❤️

Great glamping site, a short drive away from lots of stunning beaches. Tucked away so it’s very quiet, apart from the cockerels doing their morning call, but this only added to the experience. Inclusive breakfast with homemade muffins available any time we wanted. Very welcoming hosts. We had a fab time.
