Alexander Apartments Newcastle City

Was a very pleasant experience. The apartments communicate very well and was very easy. Rooms was spotless and the beds was very comfy. Would definitely stay here again. Service was so nice from the company and we felt so well looked after the whole time as well safe - which is so important to me and my group.

We booked a two bedroom apartment with four beds as listed on *********** - Alexander Apartments Newcastle City and as requested paid for the Apartment and the £100 Security Deposit on the night before our travel. Whilst in flight to Newcastle, a message was sent by the company to inform me that their listing on *********** was incorrect and the apartment booked did not have four beds - only two which was unsuitable. They advised in a further message of an address elsewhere in the city where we could collect a key for another apartment.. On arrival we collected the key as instructed for an apartment that had two double beds, a sofa bed and a put-you-up bed. Not ideal, but for one night we felt we would be OK. Another train journey across Newcastle we arrived at the apartment to find two doubles as promised, a broken put-you-up and a very small sofa bed. There was a lack of bed linen for the two (not double) beds and there was no other linen etc available. This was reported to Alexander Apartments by message accompanied by photographs, and they replied to inform me that no one was nearby t help. As we were on a schedule, we left, somewhat disgruntled, but prepared to return later. Customer Services then got in touch to apologise and offered us a free stay for one night on our next visit, but nothing for this, also broadly saying there was nothing else they could do about it. We four guys stayed the night with two of us sleeping clothed on the floor due to the broken bed, the incredibly uncomfortable sofa bed and a lack of bed lined...... Now some 14 days after our stay, the security deposit has not been returned and no communication has been received from Alexander Apartments either to state if there is a reason for this, or in response to two message i have sent to query the non return of the security deposit. If you chose to stay in any of the buildings they operate be very wary - not least as some 14 days after our visit, the Newcastle City Apartment listing on *********** still offers "two bedrooms each with two beds" which it doesn.t have...

WORST EXPERIENCE!! booked this apartment for my friends birthday celebrations , on the way over after asking for ID and a 300 pounds deposit !! We were told that we cannot stay in our original apartment as we are not all of the age of 26 and we will be offered 2 new apartments as a “good gesture”, after refusing to go to the new location we were told that they will cancel our apartment with no refund and then we will be left with nowhere to stay !!, as we had no other choice we ended up staying in the new apartment which was out of centre that we thought we were paying the extra for .. when we arrived we were shocked at how they could have put us in this hell hole , it looked like the bronx , we had no face to face interaction with anyone during our whole trip which is weird… we were told the key will be left in the box but our key was in the door and DOOR OPENED ? And this stage we just wanted to go home and our friends 21st birthday trip had been basically ruined by these lot … when we went inside the place was filthy and a size of a box stains on sheets , hair all over the floor , hand prints on the walls nothing was okay about it , after getting in contacted with them after 100 tries they didn’t care at all and told us it’s a good gesture and that we can go on the streets if not ? We also haven’t received are deposit back. unfortunately we were very stupid and didn’t read reviews before as people have similar stories , these lot need to be taken down of *********** and other websites !!!!

These people are scammers, they find any reason to make you cancel after too late for refund. They try to charge excessive security fee you will never see again. Avoid, avoid, avoid, avoid. They know how to play the system

This apartment is located directly above a very busy and loud pub with live bands playing till 1am No mention of this in the descriptor We paid £150 for an overnight stay for my son to participate in an international triathlon None of us got any sleep and he did not participate. Communication and responses from the company are non existent Wrong number in address and waited ages for a code to get into the property AVOID

The worst ever!! Gave wrong postcode and when finally finding it after 2 hours the apartment was disgusting Mould on ceiling, dirty soiled chairs, broken sofa and hair in bathroom floors & in the BEDS
