Staying in A bldg unit 205 it had a nice direct ocean front patio. Unfortunately we were unable to use it between 8am when the construction workers arrived & 4pm when they left. They are repairing/replacing stucco lots of noise hammering, chipping out stucco had to close the blinds for privacy. Thought we’d watch news before heading out but had to max volume on tv because of noise. So we just left & guess come back after 4 to see if we can sit on the patio. What pisses me off is there is no mention of this work being doing anywhere on website. Made reservations weeks ago. Oh when we went to shower before leaving for the day we couldn’t find towels, they were in the dryer. Unit was nice but really no mention of construction zone and not using balcony between 8am -4pm We have worst luck renting beachfront condos & finding out they are doing construction work once we get there. Same thing happened couple a years ago a condo on Hilton Head Island. Update: From 1 star to 3. Apparently if You make reservations 60 days in advance (we & others did not) you’ll get an email that outlines all the construction that is going on. I can’t really speak as to what is contained in that email as we & others did not receive it. We expressed our concerns to staff about no knowledge of construction & not using balcony. The staff was very nice & graciously revised the balance due. The bitter taste of miscommunication is a bit more palatable Stuff happens just roll with it. Beach & weather were great as well as the staff
