Ghost Light Inn

What a fabulous place! We had a corner room on the river and a beautiful golden tree outside the other window! Service was great. Decor is brand new and fabulous! All in all highly recommend this hotel and the area in general. LOVE New Hope for antiquing and vibes!!!

The Carriage House and Ghost Light Inn are outstanding. Well appointed, river front and peaceful. Not to mention an OUTSTANDING restaurant on premises. What’s not to love. I highly recommend this place and would definitely go back to stay.

Love the Ghost Light Inn! Great staff, food and accommodations. Super clean and the Inn awesome. Location is right in the heart of New Hope, Pa. My girlfriend and I go there 2-3 times a year. Excellent views of the River....walking distance to all shops, restaurants, etc. Parking included with your stay right outside of the Inn. Highly recommend!!

We stayed here for two nights and had a wonderful stay. The front desk was welcoming and helpful upon or arrival. Someone from the front desk staff came out to our car and assisted us with our bags and showed us to our room. Everyone we encountered during our stay was friendly and helpful. There is a small $20 a day parking fee, however you can come and go as you please. There are only 12 rooms and they are all on the 3rd floor. Our room was spacious, decorated beautifully and faced the Delaware River. The beds were very comfortable and I loved the numerous amounts of pillows on the bed. It felt like I was nestled in a cloud! The inn is located right in the heart of New Hope within walking distance of several restaurants, shops and coffee houses besides Starbucks and Dunkin. You can even take a walk over the bridge into Lambertville, NJ where there are even more restaurants and shops. We are looking forward to coming back next year!

The Pros: The views and the room, itself are really nice. Warm, inviting room decor. Lots of light. Great views of The Delaware River & New Hope. The Cons: Customer service and communication are lacking. This is a five star hotel and the rooms are priced that way. I stayed here for two nights with my wife and the sheets and pillows had a musky, damp smell to them. It made it difficult to sleep. They said the sheets were changed. Tried to sleep the 2nd night - Same issue. There was also a matter of the valet. Our car was valet’d on our first night in. When we woke and went to leave two days later, we were surprised to find that our car had been moved from the lot and relocated two blocks over. It was never communicated that the vehicle would be moved offsite due to a local race. We were then told that “it’s just two blocks away”, and that another guest had also complained about the smell of their sheets as well. Upon checking out, we had to walk all of our luggage (and wedding attire) two blocks away (and take several trips to do so). There was no offer to assist us. I would likely not stay at The Ghost Light again.

We just returned home from a 2-night stay in the carriage house... a great experience. The attention to detail is impressive... the place is immaculate. Nothing feels cheap. While we had low expectations of the 'continental breakfast', it was excellent. While not inexpensive, it seems that 'you get what you pay for' applies at the Ghost Light Inn.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. The room was tastefully decorated and bed was really comfortable. Great room amenities; tin of coffee for a Keurig brewer - you can have as much coffee as needed in the AM. The view is spectacular. Breakfast was delish. Would definitely stay here again

I recently stayed at the Ghost Light Inn and had a great experience. It is a beautiful boutique hotel in a great location. It is within walking distance to places we needed to go and see. The staff was great and the room felt comfortable and high end. I would definitely stay here again.
