Casa Palmeira

Was happy with the location close to shops.The bed was not comfortable at all please try to change to new Beds in some of the rooms.

Rooms not clean and not well maintained. No value for money. It's looks all nice kn the pictures but the actual property is untidy. However the area is nice.

The place is noisy, not for people who want quiet and peaceful. People were making noise throughout the night, not toilet paper, upgrade the furniture.

My only challenge with Casa Palmeira guesthouse is that they get bookings from booking. Com and they use false advertising there. When I booked my place it indicated that it's a single double room only to receive a call on the Sunday morning traveling to the place from Johannesburg to Nelspruit informing me that I had actually booked a tent outside not a room. I became puzzled. The Manager for one at first was very rude and told me it's not their problem I must cancel my booking and booking. Com will refund me not them. Wow.... I asked how long will it take they said 5 to 7 working days and how must I book another place if that's the only money I had? Moving forward got to the room found the receptionist who was very humble and sweet I explained my story to him he understood and called the manager she continued with the arrogance and indicated I must top up the money I made to secure a room and I topped it up fine because I was tired am had a long day traveling. Otherwise next morning met with the Manager and she apologized for the inconvenience made by booking. Com something that she could have done before we even got deep into it the previous day. In short i was not happy with the false advertising done by their people and on top of that they couldn't help me instead insisted I top up the money again which was out of my budget. The guesthouse in general is a nice place and the guy who works there is a super darling.

I had issues with both of our bathrooms. There was no soap and shampoo holders. We had to bend down to reach out to those things while taking a shower. It was unpleasant. There was also no bathroom towel. The TV in room 13 was not working properly which really frustrated my daughter.

The staff is excellent and I enjoyed my trip and my stay at casa I will continue to come again when I come for my next visit
