Island Palms Resort

Great resort. Close to everything. Lovely pool area and gardens. Strongly suggest you book one of their cars for hire as it saves a lot of time and effort getting around the island. Go for top floor but warning, NO lift, but great views if you dont mind the effort to get to your room. Food shop, go to IGA near Ferry Terminal.

Great timeshare resort opposite beach, free snorkel equipment, friendly managers/staff. Nice deck. Big 2bdr 2 bathroom apartment with full kitchen and laundry. Bus stops at front door. Short distance from Nelly Bay shops and close to Peppers resort where there was free live music every night for a special event. Tropical paradise that should not be missed.

This has to be one of the best timeshares around. Congrats Dave & Linda on running a great resort. Your warmth & friendliness, even before we arrived and then throughout our stay, made a huge difference! Comfortable beds, well appointed apartments, beautiful pool & good location. Loved the fact that fishing gear & kayaks are available to be borrowed. The hire car was great. I recommend doing the short walk along the waterfront out the front, towards the marina & the shipwreck, at sunset when the rock wallabies come out!

This is a great little getaway on Magnetic Island, North Queensland. It is timeshare but sometimes has apartments to rent. Very clean. Great pool with spa and waterfall feature. Lots of tropical palm trees surround the pool. Has a BBQ area and small tennis court. Short walk to small supermarket. The Managers and staff are very helpful. They also have cars for hire. It is however a three story walk up only, so not the good for folk who cannot climb stairs.

If you enjoy a lovely quiet holiday at this time of year, Island Palms is a perfect place to be Free internet makes it easier to connect to the world outside. We return every February to this lovely resort run be a very lovely couple!

Our stay in Island Palms Resort was such a delight and an amazing experience! Everything about the resort is excellent, close proximity to supermarket, places to eat, the bus stop is right at your door step, etc. The resort is well maintained and clean and the rooms were spacious for 4 people in a 2 bedroom unit. We had a balcony overlooking the pool. We spend most of our afternoons in the pool after exploring the island during the day. The book in our room has lots of information about Magnetic Island and that was our bible! Linda and Dave were very helpful and answers all our questions. We wanted to do a twilight sip and sail as a last minute decision and Linda was able to assist us with booking the sail boat Pilgrim Sailing with a very short notice. We were very grateful because the sip and sail was one of the highlights in our holiday! Also, we found a very nice wine bar which is only a walking distance to the resort it is called the 'Smuggler's Wine Bar'. Aside from nice selection of wines, they serve tapas and our favorite was the chilli garlic prawns for our mains, We will definitely be coming back to the resort and Magnetic Island.
