Hostel First Colombo Airport

One of the best hostel ii have stayed in sri lanka. Its 5min, away from the airport and rooms are so clean, good foods with some activities at the dinner.., they are giving all the informations to do thhe things around sri lnka.., and had somuch fun..., Thank you guys and all the best...

Worst place in Colombo. We made reservations for 2 rooms. On reaching the property at around 11 in the night, we got to know that the AC was not functional in both the rooms we were put in. We immediately informed the staff present there and asked him to shift us to a room where the AC was working. He refused. We called the owner of the property who came at around 12:30 in the night and told us that he will not honor the bookings made by is and forced us to leave the property. The owner also made personal remarks against us and the country where we came from. The owner was rude, dumb, non-accommodative and also made personal remarks against put female friends. This came as a shock for as we have a very good experience in Sri Lanka and every place we visited for over 10 days treated us well and the manner in which one should treat the guests. We also informed the owner of this property to inform the other guests who were scheduled to arrive after us about the issue. He flatly refused. Worst possible place to go. Just book another property which is in the same area (Transit Studio) who immediately took us in and helped us at 1AM in the night. Dont book this place ever.

Very friendly and helpful staff who gave me advice for my travels. Ran by backbackers, for backpackers. Very clean and a good location too, as well as the delicious pancake breakfast. The bed was super comfy making it an excellent choice for after a flight.

Great hostel. We had a double room and it was cleaner and better equipped than most of the hotels we’ve stayed in. The manager, Sana, was incredibly helpful throughout the stay and couldn’t do enough for us. Great location right next to the airport and laid back atmosphere. Would definitely stay again.
