when we walked into the hotel, we saw a lot of people playing in the swimming pool, some women wearing skirts with black scarfs on their heads, men wearing T-shirt, they playing, laughing, even eating in the water, making the water disgusting, we were totally shocked! there's a restaurant in the hotel, they were holding a party from evening to midnight, playing music every every loudly! there was a machine just close to the room, I don't know what kind of machine is, I took a picture, it made noise loudly just liked a big truck driving pass your room all the time . Mosquitoes are extremely abundant in the room, but there's no mosquito net or mosquito incense. you can imagine the disgusting pool, the loud noise all the night, abundant mosquitoes, making the hotel like a hell for the guests. I can take legal responsibility for what I said is true!游泳池里很多人穿服泡在水里，女的穿裙子包头巾，男的穿短袖T恤，他们又闹又笑甚至在游泳池里吃东西！晚上酒店的餐厅举办party直到半夜11点半45分才结束，音乐声震动窗子哗哗响。房间旁边有个机器，不知道是什么，像个大卡车一样整晚响不停，这里简直就是一个地狱！我可以为我说的真实性负法律责任

這個酒店是我這次行程中性價比最高的，之前的倆大一小都要 2000+，這裏不需要加床費。衹要三位數以內，我看了酒店隔壁就要倆千多的房間。而且房間大，陽台也超大，前台幫我們免費升級了房間 整個酒店很有度假感覺，在別墅區，很安靜，下次來斯里蘭卡尼甘布一定要多住倆晚

這家酒店是我們到達斯里蘭卡的第一站，有點可惜的是我們的航班在晚上抵達，所以來到酒店感受到的是貼心的服務，第二天早上起來去吃早餐的時候，被大草地和泳池驚艷到了，環境真不錯，可惜要出發了，不然遊個泳肯定也是很快活的事情😄

Hôtel super, avec un accueil très chaleureux ! Le sunset face au lagoon et à la piscine est à faire et nous avons très bien mangé Propreté des lieux, service de grande qualité (voiturier, réception très réactive,…) Je recommande !

Lovely hotel to stay after a flight, would of been good to stay longer food was good great Tea & Coffee, very relaxing rooms, beds very comfortable beautiful surroundings perfect and relaxing close to outside amenities showers were great swimming pool great

One of the hotels used by Luxury Escapes tours in Sri Lanka. Accoms were nice enough, drink on arrival and good customer service in the hotel part. Loved the pool aspect and that the hotel had a gym (which I used). Biggest downside was the area, I wouldn't really recommend this location, need to get a Tuk tuk to Negombo, which wasn't that nice a place to visit (we looked at the fort and the fishing markets, but I wouldn't recommend stopping). The town centre itself wasn't anything great in comparision to other stops in Sri Lanka. Possibly in the wrong area to get the best out of Negombo. Worst part was the service in the ala carte restaurant. We had been earlier in the day and people were getting food within 20 minutes. We needed to eat and had an hour before our tour meeting at 7pm, we ordered a drink each and three meals between three of us. Took 20 minutes for the drinks to come out, and then after 40 minutes we checked on when the food was coming, told it was shortly. Then another 20 minutes for ONE main to come out, and then another 15 for the next, and then another 5 for the last. Couldn't understand the delay, the buffet restaurant was nearly empty, nothing seemed to be happening quickly inside that would account for the extraordinary delay. We got the bill - all full price, so we asked manager for a discount as we had missed the meeting and had been stuffed around. It wasn't overly expensive, more the principle of the matter. They offered 10% (basically the service charge or a tax) and then couldn't allow more apparently. This just really was disappointing service. In the end I negotiated a free coffee in the morning. I also suggested that they should provide updates if customers are waiting a long time, and perhaps a free drink and some apologies for delays. Breakfast (buffet) was better as I served myself, food however was generally not hot unless you visited omelette stations etc. This was the second night in Sri Lanka and by far the longest time we waited for foods over the trip. This did seem to be a theme throughout Sri Lanka however in hotel restaurants (buffet foods always cold, and slow service for a la carte). I would not stay here again for the location, but also the food.

This hotel was our first stop in Sri Lanka. It is a few miles from the International airport but the journey is quite long due to the busy roads. The room was quite spacious and of fairly good quality - a little dated - so fine for one or two nights to recover from a long flight. Our evening meal was delicious - a huge choice of buffet curries etc.

The Regenta Arie Lagoon regularly I visit this property, I am writing to file a formal complaint about my recent stay at your hotel Chauffer / Guide Accommodation. Unfortunately, my experience was not up to the standard I expected, and I would like to bring a few issues to you attention! The Chauffer / Guide Accommodation I was disappointed to, No drinking water and no any water filter machine. Bed Mattress (More than 5 Yes old) Spider Nat's everywhere. Bed Sheets (Very small sheet not enough for the bed) Mosquito Net (Not Wash More then 1 year) Bathroom (Not clean more than 6 month) Commode Toilet seat Broke. Car Park Toilet drainage overflow (Very Bad Smell Car Parking area). Overall Poor maintenance, the accomandation and toilets looking very poor!

We were warmly welcomed by the hotel's staff upon arrival. Check in was smooth and the rooms are spacious. A lovely bath had been drawn waiting for our arrival. Such an idyllic location and beautiful grounds. It is with great pleasure that Unforgettable Sri Lanka wishes to extend its sincere gratitude to Regenta, Arie Lagoon, Negombo.

We were family of 9 The rooms had connecting doors and the scenery and view overseeing the lake was amazing The staffs during check in were not welcoming in comparison with other hotels We literally waited and asked at the counter to whom we shall check in ,till then no one attended The food was great! The chef was making fresh chapathi's just for us continously We didnt manage to take breakfast ,thus breaakfast was packed for us The room was ok The washroom was abit smelly Otherwise ,it was a great stay

A nice hotel and a nice spacious room. Only complaint was there were too few plug points. The A la carte menu was extensive but the half board menu was limited. The staff were all extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough to help. Prices were reasonable.

This is the last hotel we had in this tour. Best view and nice location. We enjoyed both the lagoon and the beach. Rooms are so clean and space. Washrooms are clean and beds are so comfortable. I love both pools. Staffs are friendly. Their restaurant provides very tasty Srilankan and Western food. Best in customer service. Mr. Anirutha (hope I spelled correctly) in change officer for the restaurant very friendly and tried his best to accommodate guest requests. He and his staffs are always smiling and trying to assist the guests, so good at customer service. Thank you team. Will Recommend for a week of stay for relaxing.

What a beautiful place! The modern decor and incredible staff made our stay wonderful. The property is clean, the pool is lovely, and the food is amazing. We wish we could have stayed longer. The view is simply incredible, offering a calm and peaceful atmosphere. We will definitely return for a longer stay.

We stayed here in March and had a lovely stay. Stayed here the day before we left to the airport. We were happy with our decision to stay here as it was close to the airport and we had no issues getting there in the morning. The booking process was easy and quick via email. Very good and prompt communication throughout. Checking in was quick and easy too. The welcome drink was quite warm and we would have preferred something nice and cool :) Rooms were nice and clean. Had all the amenities. Had a nice , relaxed vibe throughout. Staff were lovely , friendly and helpful. They had buggies to transport the luggage which was nice and I was able to get a ride to and from to the room with my little baby too:) We had booked a room with a pool which was brilliant. It was, however, slightly loud at night which may have been the motors or generators , not sure what it was but they were next to our room. Overall, we had a nice time and we would definitely stay here again.
